TRU Tiger Force and BJ's figures arrived!!

Hey all; I just got my TF and BJ's figures in the mail yesterday, and they're great! The packages are REALLY nice, particularly the TF package, and I'm really fighting myself to open them since they display in the package so well. The file cards are so much better IMO than what's being put out lately. The only disappointment I have is the fact that I got the "white-skinned" TF set and not the "tanned" set with the black-headed Big Brawler that I wanted, but oh well. Both sets are very cool, but I've made a few observations...

First of all, like someone else mentioned here before, most of the TF figure's legs are slightly turned inward. No big deal, as they don't look too bad and it's hardly noticable. But "Agent" Jinx comes with almost opaque weapons! That bugged me. And I noticed that on the back of the package where there's a description of what each figure comes with, Hasbro had put a sticker over one of Big Brawler's accessories, like they made a running change. Hmm...anyone know what that's all about?

As for the BJ's 8-pack, I love the figures; hate the accessories! The box displays very nicely, and there's some nice variations IMO of old favorites. (Firefly's colors are kinda odd, but hey; it's Firefly!) But I'll probably replace Roadblock's weapons with one of the many Heavy Dutys I have from army building, and I thought I'd give Wet-Suit some RAHC accessories (from a two-pack I found last night on sale at CVS for $4.50 BTW) since he has absolutely NOTHING that a diver should come with. The red Storm Shadow and Fast Blast Viper are awesome though. And the Snake-Eyes is very nice too, although I don't prefer gold on my commandos. He's a nice variation, nevertheless. I'll also replace the TF Stalker's weapons too, since they look like he stole 'em from Voltar's private stash. I have some extra RAHC weapons that I think will do nicely, namely Leatherneck's and Gung-Ho's, not to mention an extra GvsC Blowtorch's gun. (Why he was given such a cool gun and not others I'll never know!) :D

Save for the lack of detailing and accessory issues, I rather like both of those collections as well. Nice, better proportions and their legs are SOLID to stay on footpegs better. Plus their waists seem stable. JvC just doesnt seem as stable. They keep sliding out of position when I try to pose them

DB, you got your 8-pack from Smalljoes right??

I want a pack too, I just don't want to spend 30 bucks for it... I ordered a Funskool Skystriker instead.

Yeah, that's where I ordered from clammy. Ah...I figured I'd screw around and pay more eventually on eBay later anyway, so I said WTH and took the plunge. (That...and I wanted to win the drawing on that blue Snake-Eyes!  )
