funny thing. i was really looking forward to the new x-30 since pics posted long time ago. finally found it at toys r us last weekend, picked up two right away. box art was awesome, the photo on the back made me even more excited. cut open the tape, pulled out the box, and wow... what a disappointment. @-@ instead of the gray, black, and white camo from the art and the photo, it actually sports a hideous dark green, black, and cream camo. i didn't even finish removing it, i knew right there i'd rather have the moolah than that. damn. and it was going to be my favorite version of the x-30. oh well. @*-

Anyone have pics?

How does Slipstrem look?

yeah, i took a couple pics. i'll see if i can get around to uploading them tonight.

and slip stream is okay, not bad. i don't know where his head comes from. the paint scheme could have been better, and it would have been just fine if it was the color from the photo on the back. he was sporting a simple and appropriate olive drab pilot jumpsuit.

has any one else got a  hold of one of these things theyre awesome .....i just baught one two days ago and i think it blows the old conquest away with the excpeption of the crappy sound attack ....the same goes for the snowcat it grrrrreat

The only edge this new X-30 could conceivably have over the original is the black thrusters and missles. Nothing more. Unfortunately the bad headsculpt and skin color on Slipstream, The hideously unbalanced Sound Attack setup (If we HAVE to have it, cant they set up a fake gun for the other side?) and the afore mentioned cream color far outshadow what little good it had going for it.

Im afraid the only thing the new X-30 is good for is stripping it for parts to use on the original or 1998 re-issue X-30. Both of which came with much better looking figures.
