Just got Battle Blitz! Review

I just happend to stumble across the Battle Blitz at a local supercenter here in town and I had to pick it up, heck I did not even know it was out yet. the vehicle itself is allright. I say it is much better in person and out of package then it is in pictures. The spy troop function is lame and while it would have been cooler if you could put your own figure on the sled the molded figure is all right for the kids. I would have been all over it if I was 12. The Grunt figure is one of the best made so far. I wish all the small vehicles came with all new figures. A great way to make some awesome second string characters. I love having an awesome remake of the first G.I. joe 3 and 3/4 figure. Grunt makes this worth picking up and I can't wait to add him to my shelf once i get home.

I would have liked to have waited for the two pack with Destro but I could not resist having Grunt now. I will use the one in the two pack for custom work

I live in Birmingham Alabama and yes it was a Supercenter Wal-Mart.

I definitely want Grunt but I'm not too sure about the vehicle. I'm actually looking forward to the Cobra Coils Cycle. Although it does make the viper seem awfully small.

i picked up the battle blitz last night myself.

 

I liked the cobra venom cycle but i couldnt resist having Grunt, plus the vehicle doesnt seem too bad.

 

This really is a good toy. I need a sound attack vehicle anyway to test out all my SA weapons. But i was a little disappointed in Grunt. I dont know why--dont get me wrong i still like the figure but it just seems like it coulve been better.

 

and personally i dislike the little molded guy on the bottom. it wouldve been sweet if it was empty and we could put our own figure there. Or AT LEAST they coulve explained who this guy is!

Well I got mine today! I really like the look of this for some reason. I noticed it was packed 3 per case with the Venon cycle. Guess the Road Rebel became road kill!

Which we all know it should be.

I also noticed that it has replaced the plastic turd!

 

I looked at it today but the vehicle was okay and that grunt wasn't much better. The vehicle was better than i thought but grunt seemed, dissapointing.

Just got backfrom my Walmart and they had both vehicles. I picked up the Venom cycle (I guess they changed it from Coil?) and I love it! My Dreadnoks look really cool riding it!

The entire thing is supposed to be a decoy, even the pilot on that luge. So no explanation needed (other than the ridiculousness of it).

I don't know I really like the Grunt figure. He's kinda plain, but it works for him. I do think he looks more like Steeler to me though. I also get the feeling by looking at him that the Grunt released with Destro in wave 7 will be painted up with more detail. I can see where they could and well Dusty with Sandrazor is proof.
