Hi,

I've recently taken up gi joe collecting again after falling in love with the gi joe vs cobra line thi ssummer. The only problem is that here in Montreal Quebec we are completely deprived of Gi Joe's. Toys r us, cahrges 3$ more for the two packs than zellers andwalmart and even though they have the bigger selection of the three they still only have wave 1 figures and get this, no vehicles. Nothing. zellers and wal mart with the better prices only have wave one figures as well but have so few its not even funny. I emailed hasbro cananda and they still havnt responded to me.

I just wanna know if anyone knows a good place for me to get my gi joes. I especially liek teh spy troops but to buy them from bryans toys, or teh store on 44 etc. is to pay in american prices which is so expensive. it'll cost me almost 20$ canadian for an iron grenadier because its liek 12.99 everywhere on the net.

i need your help everyone.

I feel your pain! we are not much better down at vancouver...

10 USD = 15.3 CAD..

but the truth is telling Hasbro aren't exactly useful... if the wave 1 don't sell out at our TRU, TRU won't be stocking anymore figure... Hasbro of coz wanna sell more of its figures... but nobody is taking them becoz dumbass TRU overstock wave 1... at my TRU, they have at least 25 pack of wave 1 figures... also TRU has high price some reason.. for the same 2 packs, I can get it from superstore which cost only $5.97 CAD, originally $7.99 CAD.

wave 5 is appearing?!!

how about wave 1.5 to 4  i am still missing few figures from then

No, it has taken this long for Hasbro Canada to get its $#!+ together and get the bilingualism stuff figured out, or whatever they needed to do get GI Joe's available in Canada. I would have loved to have seen wave 1.5 through 4 here, although I was able to pick up the ones that I wanted, except for the red alley viper and the dark blue viper. There is a toy store here that has been selling the new figures packs, but sparingly and at such an inflated price, it is ridiculous, but I wasn't able to resist a few packs.
