My only complaint about this figure is it doesnt look like it has to much articulation. This figure should have the same type of articulation as Marvel Legend figures.

Isn't that just the prototype? I'm sure the actual figure will have plenty of articulation. After seeing the movie, I've got to have a Gollum figure. He stole every scene he was in!

Yah, you're right. A whole bendy figure would absolutely bite. But, if the figure were to have bendy parts at certain flex points (like the midsection and his triceps), I certainly would be thrilled. Even with Toy Biz's 30+ articulation points figures, some of them still cannot effectively mimic the bending over aspect of human anatomy (Spider-Sense Spidey almost did it)

I'm not 100% satisfied with the look on his face. I want to see hatred and despair in those eyes! I'd also like some more accessories. A rubbery fish and a dead rabbit would be sweet.

There might actually be hope for this as a bendy...

 

First a friend of mine called to mention the WCW bendy-esque Bret Hart figure. He said anyone who has that should know what he's talking about.

 

But aside from that. The figure's lanky, but still has linmbs wider than a ML figure's fingers. If the figure's rubber is loose enough, the figure will be able to flex in believable manner and most likely someone who's not a collector wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The larger feet and hands of Gollum also go a long way in giving this figure balance. It's got me wondering now if Mangaverse Spider-Man will be like this...

 

As for the face. Yah, he does look a bit pissed. But, if Toybiz doesn't make another Gollum, the figure need to represent him as best as possible. He was bitter at the beginning of TTT, he was downright treacherous at the end of it, and he's hella pissed in ROTK, so it makes sense that an angry face be made for the figure. Although, a swappable head would've been need for him

what they need to do is realese a new frodo figure with more accessories. i have been dying to get a new frodo figure.im though playing with my old one.

With all the re-hashes Toy Biz do, I wouldn't be surprised if we see 2 more Gollum's down the line. Here's a spoiler for one of my ideas:
