Something funny about the LOTR songs...

I don't know any of the tunes to the songs in the LOTR books, so I always use the same tune. It usually works out. Sometimes, if there is an odd amount of lines or the lines are longer, I modify the tune a bit. But my usual tune is the "Irish Jig" tune from "Who's Line Is It Anyway?". I'm dead serious. It may sound funny, but I swear it works 90% of the time. If you have no idea of what the tune sounds like, try to catch an episode of "Who's Line?". They do the "Irish Jigs" very rarely on the show, since hoedowns are much more popular. But the "Irish Jig" tune is perfect for the type of group songs (especially sang by elves and such creatures) in the LOTR books. If you know how the tune goes, just try singing a song with it. I think that the song Treebeard sings in TTT about the Ents and Entwives goes especially well with it. No seriously, try it out!
