Something I noticed about Orlando Bloom/Legolas...

The other day I was looking at some pics of Orlando Bloom, the actor who plays Legolas. There were also pics of him as Legolas. I noticed one main thing: they look nothing alike! Orlando has short, brown hair and brown eyes. Legolas has long blond hair and blue eyes. The two didn't even look much alike in the face. Must have been the expression. Anyway, what I'm saying is that they did a very good job on this one. I mean, he looks just like I pictured Legolas while in his costume, and yet if I saw him walking down the street, I would never for a moment think, "That guy must be Legolas in the LOTR movies!" The moviemakers did a very nice job switching him from Orlando Bloom the actor to Legolas Greenleaf the elf.

good observation. from what ive seen of him in interviews and stuff, he seems like a realy wild guy. the first interview i saw of him was on the LOTR: FOTR dvd and he had a MOHAWK!!! obiously a pretty wild fella.

A mohawk???? Legolas has a mohawk @-@ It's cool though - he does look a lot different as I saw a pic of him in EGM. Aragorn looks different too right??

hahah. yeah the monawk suprised me at first. but then i remember hes australian or something, so it didnt surprise me...meaning i could just tell hes wild. it was an old interview tho and i dont think hes got it anymore.

I thought he had the mohawk because he had to wear that wig as Legolas. That is an interesting observation about how he looks in rela life though. But given that color contacts are pretty normal now a days, it's not too difficult to give someone different eye color. It would be more interesting if they forgot to put it on in one of the close ups and you see his brown eyes instead.

Actually, he's British. And I remember that interview, but his hair has grown in considerably since then.

I hear Pirate ghosts (or is it Ghost pirates?) bring me joy, no matter how bad it ends up being.

Watch the LOTR:FOTR DVD and look at his interview. He looks and talks like a gay guy. I'm suprised he didn't wear a pink sweater. :lol:
