Thundercats Comic Issue 3

Has anyone else bought this comic yet??? THE ART IS TERRIBLE!!! I couldnt even finish reading it!!! It was so repulsive the way this new guy draws!! What happened to the old guy? His art was fine!!!

I agree completely. The fill in artist was terrible. The story was pretty bad too but at least before the drawings kind of made up for it. I hope McGuiness comes back for the next one. I'm just holding out to see what comes next in the thundercats revival. i.e. new action figures. that is the only reason why i am buying these right now.

Me too. All I really want to see is new figures or a new cartoon. I could care less about the comics but I am buying them to show that there is interest.

Yeah I know what you mean... I would love some new thundercat toys... But in the meanwhile the comic at least gives me a little variety in my 80s toy obsession.... I mean I get SOOO much GI joe and transformers stuff that its nice once a month to get something thundercats... even if it is just a cheesy comic... But this artist made me want to barf... Im serious, I didnt even finish the book..

I have not read issue 3 yet butI have been enjoying the new comic.

i understand completely, i just finished the book and that was a long and painful process, my eyes are still burning. a word to the wise, get someone to read it to u if u are interested in the story that much (i dont kno anyone that would be though) Hererra is just plain @$$ terrible as an artist, im sorry for sounding like and bung hole but jesus, its plain BAD!!

Im glad everyone else felt that way because I was in shock really when I saw how bad that book was... At first I thought maybe there was just something I didnt know... I mean I had never seen art that bad in a comic book before and I couldnt believe my eyes... Now everyone else says they felt the same way so I know better.... If He draws Issue 4 it will stay at the comic store.

I think Herrera was a one time deal (thank God). He's not a bad artist, just a terrible Thundercats artist. I got a sick feelining reading it too. It's 2 hours later and I'm still woozy. I actually made it through the whole book and it was not as good as the previous two.

Granted, the art is bad...but am I the only one who is enjoying the stories? The cartoon was never exactly King Lear, and the comic is a pretty fun read, at least for me. It's nice seeing the characters whom I had forgotten about long ago.

Bad art can ruin a decent to good comic. I remember for a time, Superboy's art was so awful, I could no longer buy the comic. I did think the art in the Universe comic(whatever they called it) was decent.
