Fair deal?

Hey guys,

I want my RAH cohorts to do me a favor - look over this list I have below and tell me if $611.00 (shipped) is a good price? I'm thinking of buying from a seller friend of mine but I want to know if it looks kosher to all. I think it's fine all things considered... All figures and vehicles are C8 or better, complete.

LIST:

Storm Shadow V.1

Roadblock V. 1

Thunder

Tomax + Xamot

Croc Master

Fast Draw

Hit&Run

Cobra Commander v.3

Shipwreck V.1

T.A.R.G.A.T. V.1

Downtown

Repeater

Destro & Despolier

Tele-Viper

Air Devil

GI JOE SKY STRIKER

GI JOE JUMP Jet Pack

GI JOE FLAK Attack Cannon

GI JOE Silver Mirage

GI JOE Bridgelayer

GI JOE Dragonfly Helicopter

GI JOE Wolverine

GI JOE Snowcat

COBRA W.O.L.F.

COBRA 4WD Stinger

Thanks!

Tom

No, I don't think it's worth that much. I would not pay that much. Maybe you should just bend over and get it over with! I'm just kidding!

If you tried to get these things seperately you might end up paying more. If you think it's worth it go for it! :)

That is basically my point of view. If I want to wait for complete items in excellent condition to appear on EBAY from individual sellers, I could end up paying MORE than that. Also, I do not expect a rich old Joe collector to come by and sell me his collection for peanuts, so I have to expect to pay average EBAY prices (Maybe a little more or less.)

I'm not gullible. I'm deadly impacient

1 - Tomax and Xamot are the originals of each.

2 - Croc Master is also the original, no Funskool crap for me...

And I'm not bragging, but I can afford the lot. I just wanted some input from my friends, well-wishes and trolls

Tom

You know which ones you are.

The figures alone should cost you right around $200 and that's an average (typical) "going for" on eBay rate (if you were to try and purchase them individually).

The Vehicles alone could range between $300 and $350 based on the same scenario.

However, this would not be able to take into consideration the quality or condition of each item, so it could be considerably LESS. But if all's in pretty good condition, you're right around $500 for the lot, then add your shipping and you're almost there anyway.

It's a nice older assortment, and if you aren't spending your children's inheritance, I'd say...GO FOR IT! :D

Hell no dude. Listen to me, that is a rip-off!

Those figures are not worth crap except for Stormy. And the vehicles are not the hottest ones either. I can tell you the average ebay price for all of those would be around 300 if you bought them seperate. As a lot, they would sell for like 200.

Don't do it, unless you like throwing away money.

And if you do, I'll sell you my Fast Draw for 20 bucks

I dont mind spending alot of money on needless things and I love to spoil myself as far as my hobbies are concerned, but if there is one thing I hate, its a bad deal. I bought a pair of retro nikes for $165 and never wear them, but it never pissed me off because I wanted them at the time and am pretty sure that I wouldnt be able to get them cheaper. My point is, its not the money, but I dont think that you are getting a good deal and Im pretty sure that that will irritate you more than waiting for a better deal to come along. I know that it might sound like I care too much about this, but the truth is is that I love you and I do care about you and I just want you to be happy.

That was sort of scary! Like when you have that friend you always make fun of (and them to you) and one day they totally go out of their way to help you out when you need it...

But just so it doesn't look like I'm an unappreciative ass, thanks for the sincere words, Pete. But don't push it, or else we'll end of a creepier, diet version of DarthJoe and Clam's 'friendly' affairs

Hey! What's that supposed to mean? Just because Clam touches my butt all the time doesn't mean we're like that.

Anyways...I've been watching ebay a lot lately trying to pick up some of the vintage figs I don't have, and like I said before, you could probably get all of the figures complete, with filecards in mint condition for abou 100-150 bucks. 200 tops. Just be patient and watch ebay for them and you can find good deals sometimes. Now, if the vehicles are worth $400 dollars, then I'd say go for it, but I don't think they're worth that much.
