Fun with Alley Vipers

I finally got all I was after and had some time to take some pics of them armed and in formation. There are 6 squads. Each squad consists of:

1x 97 AV (squad leader)

2x wave 2 AV (second in command)

6x 1.5 AVs (grunts if you will)

Gristle being the group leader. Go to:

It's easy to figure out after that.

What I want to know is what did you do with all those big-ben's! Holy Crap, Nice display, but it was missing my favorite alley-viper, the original from 1987. I think thats the best one to date, not knocking your display. Damn man, did you get those straight from 2-packs or did you trade for some of them?

looks cool.  love the chap mei stuff.

I actually like that Chap Mei chopper better than a lot of Joe vehicles.

AWESOME pics of your collection Prozac, and you got me BEAT big time on the AV's!

I have the very same set of Chap Mei vehicles, and agree with the other post, about them looking MUCH better than say...some of the latest G.I.Joe/Johnny Quest vehicles we've seen lately. There's a Tomahawk looking troop carrier, in the "Freedom Force" line as well, that looks VERY cool, and a large tank with bulldozer like blades on the front of it coming soon also. Haven't seen either of the 2 as yet, but they will definitely look good with the Joe figures.

This Chap Mei stuff, doesn't seem to have trouble flying off the shelves at most the Big Lots I see them sold in. I wonder why Hasbro feels they have to bend over for the retailers, by adding "gimmicks" to the vehicles and such, in order to have them declared "acceptable for shelf space"..? :-?

Cool yet..quite simple, is this stuff. I wish it could be moreso with the actual Hasbro made Joe goodies, but..oh well.

When I get myself setup with a photoshop, I'll have to post some pics of my MANY Cobra and Joe forces for ya as well, I don't have the mega army you've got there, but I think you'll be impressed! :D

Heh heh heh, it was actually pretty impressive, but I'm not a big fan of any recolors, so I dunno where I stand...

It really makes me question what the heck Hasbro was thinking about with the original orange and blue Alley Viper.

That was awesome! Your Alley-Viper army is hardcore and definitely one of the best I've seen. You also have a great formula as well. It looks very nice. Did you buy all of the AVs in two-packs? That is alot of two-packs!

If you get a chance post a picture of your Big Ben army! Thanks for the pics! :)

Well, don't hold your breath too long for the tank, chances are it won't be released in these parts. I've been frantically searching for the Chinook for a couple months now to no avail :(

I traded for little less than half of the alley Vipers, I would be a extremely broken man had I bought them all(borken 2 ways: money wise, and my wife woulda broken my limbs LOL)

As far as a Big Ben army, I only have about 4 of each version left. I traded off some of them...didn't need them all.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! I'm glad you enjoye dthe pics!
