Help ID unknown playset

Can anybody help me identify this toy:

It's obviously not a GI joe Playset but it looks cool and looks like it can be used as some sort of Cobra Base.

 

On the same note, does anybody know of any non GI-Joe toys/vehicles which are compatible with 3-3/4" Joes? Specifically, anything that can used as a possible base or HQ for dioramas. I know I have seen posts for using the new HeMan Castle Greyskull as a Cobra Castle...any others??? Are Star Wars bases/vehicles compatible???

Just to let you know right off, that is NOT a GI Joe playset. The cobra is just a coincidence, don't let that fool you - Cobra never had such an symobic base in toyform.

 

I genuinely don't know what that's from, but its helluva cool.

I think MASKs only playset was the Boulder Hill Pit Stop and some smaller ones... I have no clue what that is though.

it aint mask and it aint GiJoe.

 

But it IS really small. I would guess that those ramps are on scale for Hotwheel sized cars.

Hurm. Looks like it's more Micro Machine scaled. Perhaps one of the playsets they released in the G.I. Joe vein?

I have no idea what it is. It looks really small so it could be anything I guess.

That, my man, is a Starriors Armored Base. Remember Starriors? Robot dudes with wind up gizmos, related to Zoids.

on scale, Starriors were about 5 inches tall, if I remember correctly, but there were some small little car-robot things in the line, the ramp may be scaled towards them.

 

these toys were cool back in the day.
