How many Venom Cycles will you buy?

The Venom Cycle is a very nice looking vehicle. It looks very fitting for Cobra as well. It's also fairly small and comes with a Viper which means it would be great for army building! So How many are you going to buy?

 

Personally, I'm not really sure. I know that I would definitely like to get more than one, but I'm not sur ehow many! They look awesome! -

anyone know if that sidecar is removable? i really hope so. otherwise, overall, it's okay, and i'll get at least two of them since my cobra motor pool is seriously lacking right now.

 

i forgot what the color scheme on this thing looks like, i haven't looked at the convention pics in a while. it looked pretty good from what i remember, but the unpainted prototype looks kinda cool, and with the design of the bike (excluding the sidecar) it kinda has that mad max post-apocalyptic future look.

I agree. It does look a little futuristic if you ask me. It really works well too!

 

I forgot what the color scheme was too. I think it was a dark color and possibly even camo. I actually like the little sidecar. That way you can have someone driving while someone is arming the weapons! Awesome!

i guess my memory didn't serve me so well, 'cause i thought it had a good paint scheme, something close to mirroring the nice dark blue and gray camo on the fang III. but, judging from this, i'm not sure if i prefer the unpainted version.

 

 

but, it's not that bad, and i'll still need at least a couple. if the sidecar is removable i'll want even more. the sidecar is okay, and it works, but the bike alone would still be more effective to me. the effectiveness of a motorcycle in a combat situation isn't the greatest, and its maneuverability is only hindered by the sidecar (with that big ass gun).

 

but hey, it's still cool overall, even with the sidecar. i mean, it's g.i. joe after all, not real life. but, if that sidecar can detach, at least i can get hollywood with them mofos, mission impossible type stuff. 8)

So that's what it looks like! Hmmm.. Not that bad if I say so myself. I was thinking it had Purpler Wheels for some reason and I guess I was sort of right.

 

The sidecar works with the Venom Cycle, but It would definitely be great if it detached. I can see Vipers using this against the Joes, but wouldn't a single motorcycle be awesome? I definitely think so! Maybe we will see a single motorcycle without a side car in the future? I hope so!

 

For now, the Venom Cycle is awesome! The Viper it comes with isn't too shabby either!

If I were the boss at Hasbro the Venom Cycle would be mostly Black with some Red and Silver highlights along with some other colors. The Viper would have a color scheme close to the original only darker. I like the Venom Cycle the way it is though!

On another note.. Can we post a petition to get Hasbro to STOP RELEASING BIG BEN! Actually lets take that petition one step further and beg that they DESTROY THE MOLD so that a Big Ben figure can never be made again.

I'm not sure if I'll get one. So far the small vehicles have been a disappointment. The Viper is tempting though, but I'll oly get it if the other Joe items I want can't be found.

i plan on at least getting three(since that's how many i usually buy of army builders)maybe more because i always love the smaller vehicles better than the larger ones.and as for big ben this is his last repaint for awhile from what i've heard.hopefully the next time we see him it'll be a brand new sculpt.

Throw me in for THIRDING that! Considering all the Alley-Viper's (blue AND red ones) I've bought, I have waaay more Benji's than I care for. But how about adding to the list of "DESTROY THE MOLD"...the likes of Claws and Neo-Viper? 8) ENOUGH already with them being the only form of any Cobra soldier we're getting as of late. :roll:

 

As far as the Venom cycle and Viper.....hmmm, the picture of it doesn't "WOW" me, with the pink camo and purple looking wheels and all, but it may look different by the time it hits the shelves (hopefully)

The design concept of it, is fine for me, however...I MAY take to using them for my Drednoks! It has that look to it, like something slapped together for a street fight with the Road Warrior, which is befitting the junkyard style of the Nok's!

It's not like there arent other Joe characters with as many MORE repaints than Big Ben. At least the Road Rebel has a one thats slightly different, even if it is just a head swap. Id prefer THAT over a straight repaint any day. It could look good with proper paint details.

 

If you dont want your Road Rebel Big Ben's, Ill happily take them off your hands.

 

Id like to get two of the Viper. Id use the 1.5 as the common footsoldier, the W2 as the officer, and the cycle driver as a field sergeant.

Being the cynic I usually am about Joe Vs. Cobra, I have to say, the Venom Cycle at least looks decent, so long as you can remove the side car.

 

and the viper being included is a big help.
