Cobra Commander going crazy

Man oh man, I picked up the edition of G.I.Joe then had the first 2 ne wissues in it, and I love it! I don't know why I didn't start collecting these when they first came out!

But that scene where "Destro" infected Cobra Commander with the nanomites, thats priceless! That had me laughing all day!

"Guard! My soap is morphing and the forces have bloomed!" "You're working for the Joes, aren't you?!? Et tu, Mindbender? You poison me with your evil sauce!"

Heheh, oh man. It'd be funny as hell if we could hear Chris Latta(may he rest in peace) voice CC saying that.

yeah it was great. Whenever i got that issue i just kept looking at it and laughing.

Something i'm nervous about in the comics is the pink look-a-like zarana and what they're gonna do with her. SHE LOOKS LIKE A MAN(just like pink!)

Just after picking up the first issue of the new G.I. Joe comics...I got back into loving the whole aspect of the 80's magic.I really hated how they just kind of vanished since Hasbro got wrapped up making the 'real' military figures instead of the classic Joe vs. Cobra saga stuff.

But since 2002 turned out to be the 'Return of the 80's Cartoons' with a WORTHY Transformers series in Armada, the return of He-Man,and comic incarnations of each as well as Thundercats and now G.I. Joe...it's amazing.

But back onto Cobra Commander...the comic portrayed him perfectly and I can almost picture his screechy voice (by one Chris Latta, the perfect voice for CC).It does well to also take him back to his roots and show how far Cobra had fallen after they were defeated in '94...but slowly but surely,CC was in shadows...already plotting to come back into the fold. Image did a good job with this and I'm also glad they took a lot of the characters back to their design roots (with costumes, etc).Cobra Commander is a genius.
