8 new GI Joe customs

well, finally got some time to work on some customs. here they are:

 

Executioner: Torture

Fall Time: F-15 Pilot

Cesspool: Cobra CEO

Ghost: Night Ops

 

Matthew finished two of these tonight and two this past week and here they are.

Fall Time rocks. And of course I like the new Ghost, given that I think the entire Ghost series of figures you've done absolutely kicks ass.

 

I thought the Matthew figure rocked too. Interesting choice for the head.

what kinda paint did u use for these figures? thay look cool

the paints that i use are the cheap acrylic paints in the craft section at Wal-Mart. $.44 i believe, by Plaid. Folk Art or Apple Barn, they both work quite well. sometimes i do large areas or base coats in a flat spray paint.

 

stay away from gloss. flat paints are the easiest to work with and give a better look. satin is ok if it has to be used, but flat is the way to go.

 

the best tip is to be patient and give the paint enough time to dry. over night is prefered, but a couple of hours will do. take your time and dont get sloppy and you should do a nice job.
