I heard that the release was moved up to the fall sometime. I wonder if the name "The Two Towers" will cause controversey.

This probably belongs in the stupid people thread. I've heard that some people are upset about the name. These morons apparently do not realize the name was given to the book back in the 1950's. They think it's a post 9-11 creation and have been protesting. Just goes to show how stupid and uninformed most protesters are.

Actually, Star Trek: Nemesis comes out 5 days before, December 13th. I think this might be a good strategy. Get a big opening for the sci-fi fans waiting for LOTR and then get a decent second weekend from leftover audiences from LOTR.
