New Masters Of The Universe 7" Kids Line Coming From Mattel?!?
deecee4 replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
It's as if someone put Masterverse and Origins in a Brundle telepod and these came out. -
Images have surfaced from a Brazil retailer for what appears to be a new 7" Masters of the Universe kids line from Mattel. Figures look to have minimal articulation and minimal to know accessories. The first wave looks to include He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms and Mer-Man. Only He-Man and Skeletor come with one accessory which is their swords. No word yet if this is something that will be offered in the US.

MIP Monday goes micro with a look at the 2023 5 Surprise Toy Mini Brands Series 3 Transformers Cyberverse Sky Turbine Optimus Prime. I thought this would be just the cardboard box reproduced at a microscale, but there are actually two tiny plastic figurines inside the box. The 5 Surprise people went all out with this officially licensed copy of the entire package that you can see alone and compared with the original full size edition below. View the full article

I remember watching a couple of seasons of this show back when it was on the Syfy channel but didn't keep up on it. I've considered going back and trying to watch it again - but I've already forgotten what happened in those first couple of seasons so I'd likely have to start all the way over. Does anybody who has watched it all the way through have any recommendations as to whether it's worth it?

Looks like there's some leaked images making the rounds on the SNS. Thanks to @nessingway on Twitter who's schemed a couple images ahead of the Fanstream tomorrow. Check out these possible looks at the Legacy Evolution Metalhawk and Twincast with Rewind. They look real, but could be fake. We will find out tomorrow, so tune in for the Fanstream coverage right here on Tformers. View the full article

1/12 Scale Valiant Comics Bloodshot Figure Coming From Threezero
Artoyz replied to JayC's topic in Action Figure News
This figure is terrible. All the reviews I've seen on YouTube show it was poorly thought out. Which is surprising for such a, IMO, great company. Not worth Marvel Legends clearance price. Much less 10% off. Hopefully thier next 1 / 12 scale figure isn't so...meh. -
The debut Bootsy Collins ReAction Figure features the legendary bassist in his starry red & white jumpsuit and sunglasses with his signature star bass guitar, packaged on a cardback with foil accents! Stay tuned for ordering info!

The Nacelle Company has acquired the rights to produce the first-ever line of toys based on the fan-favorite sci-fi series The Expanse. The deal connects Alcon, producers of Blade Runner 2049 and 2024's Garfield, with Nacelle, the newly-formed company behind the revival of cult IPs like Robo Force, Secaturs, Power Lords, and The Great Garloo. The first wave of toys will include Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo), Camina Drummer (Cara Gee), James Holden (Steven Strait), Amos Burton (Wes Chatham), Bobbie Draper (Frankie Adams), and Naomi Nagata (Dominique Tipper). The Expanse is set in the future where humanity has colonized the solar system and the people of Earth, Mars and the Asteroid Belt have long been in opposition with one another. When the crew of the Rocinante uncovers an ancient alien technology, a vast conspiracy begins to emerge, one that will bring the solar system to the brink of war. The Expanse is a high-action, sci-fi adventure that explores the depth of humanity against the far-spanning reaches of the known universe. The series is rooted in science and fiction while remaining a thorough and thoughtful examination of some of the most vital societal issues of our day. "Not since the invention of the Epstein drive, has there been news this exciting in the world of The Expanse! And while that might be a slight exaggeration, nevertheless, we are extremely excited to play a tiny part in one of the great tv shows ever made," said Nacelle Company Founder and CEO, Brian Volk-Weiss. The Hugo award winning series, based on the hugely popular science fiction novels by James S.A. Corey, was developed and scripted by the Academy Award nominated writing duo Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby who executive produce the series alongside Naren Shankar, Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Laura Lancaster, Sharon Hall, Sean Daniel, Jason Brown, Daniel Abraham, Ty Franck and Dan Nowak. Shankar serves as showrunner for all seasons. The Expanse is produced by Alcon Television Group. Nacelle, a company founded after the success of Volk-Weiss's Netflix series The Toys That Made Us, recently relaunched the Robo Force toy line. Following the line's initial popularity, they announced that the property would be coming back to TV in the form of a new, animated series produced by Volk-Weiss. Everything was organic. It wasn't like Toys That Made Us came out, and then I'm sitting there three months later being like, now we can make toys. It wasn't like that," Volk-Weiss told ComicBook recently. "What happened was, somebody else saw Toys That Made Us. That guy called me, his name's Michael Goodman. That guy called me and he was like, 'Hey, your brand is so good. I bet we could work together and you and I separately would have better careers if we worked together, because I could make a lot with your brand.' Usually this bites me in the ass, but this is one of the few times where it worked. I took a risk, and he was absolutely right. Because Toys That Made Us was so popular and everybody knew Nacelle had made it in the toy community, he was able to go to the guy that owns Robo Force and say, 'Hey, I'm working with Nacelle, they want to buy your copyright.' Those conversations wouldn't have been possible without Toys That Made Us, and I would've never met this Michael Goodman without Toys That Made Us. What I think I'm demonstrating is there wasn't a master plan; we just went with it and if we saw an opportunity, we took a swing, and it was all very lucky."

I don't believe this, this guy has been prophesying the end of Origins for years now, I refuse to believe it, I also would be extremely upset if they cancel Origins, and here in Canada it sells really well, most of the waves fly off the shelves (well not Sun Man currently), it's my Fav line currently and I know other people agree, I doubt this will be true since they have shown off a Moss Man (Walmart Exclusive) and Snake Mountain, and several other items which will be coming out this year (I mean in truth those could get cancelled), I think it might just be the information was misheard, and they might be having less shelf space dedicated to them at big box stores, because if being discounted was the case of why they'd cancel these lines, well then just cancel everything, since I don't see Marvel Legends going away and they discount that jazz all the time in the US.

Well still seems weird that this wave other then Skeletor has not gone up for pre-order anywhere, I really need that Tung Lashor. also I gotta ask because I can't seem to remember anything about this, what's up with Purple Whiplash (with Trap Jaw mods and Misquitor boots) on the card art for Hypno? also nice to see Two Bad in the card art for Roboto, and Sy-Klone on the art for Tung Lashor I hope they are coming soon.
