So came home today after my 3rd daughter being born to take a shower and my box outside the house. The unnamed one comes with an extra head flight stand and what looks like some kinda hand blast. I really like what they did cool detail and it goes with the card description of Orko just pretending to be a complete klutz.

Sure. I really like it. I always wanted them to include more mages like orko. I don't see how anyone can be so upset about this, it's a sub exclusive fig and they went with something a little different that non subbers probably won't mind missing.

I got the new born baby girl home. I'll put some pics up as soon as I get some time.

Here's his bio:

Unnamed One: Evil Lord of Chaos
Real Name: Gorpo

Formerly an Overlord of the Timeless Dimension, this great wizard betrayed his brethren when he attempted to steal the Power of the Universe for himself. The Aura of the Gods was infused into the Sword of He for protection, and Gorpo was stripped of his form and banished to the Nameless Dimension. Here he became known as the Unnamed One..., spoken of only in whispers and myth. During his exile, he discovered a method of combining the DNA of several reptilian species. He used this knowledge to create an army of cold-blooded warriors, which he commanded to raid magical planets in an attempt to consolidate power for his revenge. His evil schemes were at last undone after Dare, the new He-Ro, confronted him in single combat, slaying the ancient mage with the very power he once attempted to steal.

So basically, you have a Trollan that was an "Overlord" of Trolla, but in an attempt to steal the "Aura of the Gods," ended up getting banished to a dimension ironically "named" the Nameless Dimension. Due to his residence in said "Nameless" dimension, his name became the "Unnamed One." Oh, and he was stripped of his form, which totally explains why he *still* resembles a Trollan as the action figure.

It's basic Neitlich fan-fiction tripe. I also added commas to the quoted bio because on top of being a crappy hack of a writer, Neitlich also sucks at rudimentary English grammar.

Sorry for the double-post, but what really infuriates me about the bio (besides it being totally contrived B.S.), is that it basically makes the entire MOTU mythos illogical.

Gorpo attempts to steal the Power of the Universe (or is the Aura of the Gods? Make up your damn mind!) for himself.
Trollan Overlords decide that one entity should not control said power.
Gorpo is stopped and banished.
Power is infused into the Sword of He for protection.
Gorpo, despite banishment, is wreaking havoc across the universe with Snake Men.
Trollan Overlords decide that in order to combat Gorpo, the Power of the Universe needs to entrusted to one person, taken out of their control/protection, and put directly within the grasp Gorpo and his forces.

That does not make sense! /Johnny Cochran

Wouldn't it make more sense that Gorpo, once a powerful Trollan mage, betrayed his order and escaped the Trollan dimension to pursue his own selfish goals of universal conquest. The Trollan Overlords, in turn, create and entrust the Sword of He to Ro and send him to bring order to the chaos being caused by this new universal threat. Due to the guilt of Gorpo being a Trollan and to prevent this shame from being broadcast through the universe, the Trollan Overlords refuse to use Gorpo's proper name, instead referring to him as "He, who must not be named," or simply the Unnamed One. He-Ro ends up in Eternia due to the recent attacks on planet by both the Snake Men and the Horde. Both factions desire the power of the Star Seed as well as any other magical artifacts, and both factions are unaware that the other also serves the will of Gorpo, who is orchestrating things from the shadows.

?

I mean, this #$## can pretty much write itself within the already rich (and established) MOTU mythos. Why and how then does it get so f'ed up by someone who is "professionally" writing the MOTU Classics mythos?

I'm pretty happy with the figs. I have different hobbies ( Firearms collecting and customizing, RC Cars, Toys, and Video games) but the hate, anger, and the irrational knee jerk responses to things are only beat by the gamer community, at least here there isn't the level of flaming each other or empty threats to each other like on a video game forums or you tube, but on the other hobbies forums I don't hear the same anger, only time it comes close is when someone buys a 1,000$ firearm that is poorly made and malfunctions.

So looks like the hate for this circles back to what it always goes back to, Nitelick the marketing manager, which is really only a scape goat for all that is wrong or seems wrong with mattel, if they changed him out then it would be the same hate for the next guy or girl. here are some pics enjoy or enjoy to hate lol. ;-)

Have to admit, if I judge this figure on its own merits... I actually think it's pretty cool. It's got more dynamic and detailed sculpting than we've seen in awhile (200x-esque really), a good color palette, nice paint aps, and that extra head is great. Just my opinion, of course. I can understand subscribers being peeved at having to pay $25 for a fairly small figure, and I can also see it maybe not living up to the large amount of hype that Matty created for it... but the figure itself definitely works for me.

Thanks for the pics, gc. Always appreciated.

Not true. The odds of another brand manager shaping the line for his/her own personal. egotistical gains is pretty slim. Neitlich is a unique breed of scumbag. Any other brand manager would just do his/her job without stepping in the lime light, be on television, manipulate the fans as a self proclaimed expert on toys, etc.
