I think thin Grayskull looks pretty terrific. Yes, it would have been great if it was a little larger to be more in scale with the cartoon, but if it were, it would have probably cost an additional $75 pushing it out of budget range for many fans. In addition, where the hell would we keep it?! it would have probably been an additional 6" wider and the same taller. Who has that kind of room in their house/apartment to display something that large? I believe that Matty did make this with the best intentions of crafting a super cool, updated, and improved version of the original (just like the MOTUC line in general) while still trying to keep it within reach of the majority of fans/collectors.

 

"how much is this going to put me back" and "will this fit in my display" are the two MAJOR factors in collecting. Overall I feel they managed those two factors pretty darn well.

Ok I found out the dimensions I haven't seen them in months

 

the dimensions are expected to be somewhere around 25”h x 26”w x 28”d

Do we have a definitive list of accessories coming with the castle yet... or is that still yet to be decided by the bean counters at Mattel?

 

I still can't get over the fact that so many per-ordered this thing without knowing what it will actually come with. This is why Mattel does what they do... because we let them.

I agree with that. However, I think for the price it should come with a generous amount of stuff.

They could put up a list whats in it thats true. The last i heard nothing got cut so everything they showed at sdcc should be included. Figures sold seperatly. Talking about figures you know about the sub? Haha

I can barely read it... but It looks like the box says it includes:

 

- Jawbridge

- trap door

- throne

- weapons

- flag

- laser cannon

- trainer

- ladder

 

and 3 levels of go frank yourself.

 

Mentions nothing about the computer console or robot/space suit. It's a good bet it won't be including those items. How surprised am I? ... Not at all.

The one thing i'm trying to do when I get it is to find a large enough Lazy Susan and got from there I want to rotate it without much trouble when I move figures around
