With the two Uptons and Jason Heyward in the outfield, not too many pop fly's are dropping in against the Braves this year. I just hope Brian McCann gets back to 100% soon. The starting rotation and bullpen look pretty solid as well. Sure going to miss Chipper, but look forward to this season. Go Braves!

Some small facts

This is the first time since 1977 that the AL has expanded and of course the NL shrunk

For the first time we will have Interleague play from Opening Day till the season finale

Chipper was a great player but I am glad to see him retired.

I don't know why he didn't want to make it to 20 years

Probably because he realized that his injuries had piled up....he has major feet issues.

That's good. I always enjoyed seeing him on the Astros, but he always had problems with balls low and away.

Yeah, this will be how a lot of games go for the Astros in terms of strikeouts. Just gotta hope for the power as well. Glad to see Marwin break up the no hitter. Watching that made me feel like Sisko on that episode of DS9 where he plays baseball with the Vulcans.

I thought that was sad to see him lose the perfect game on his last batter.

I was like, "what a jerk!" you are losing 7-0 anyways
