This is why the sub has to go! I've had it with retail and those of us who only buy retail getting the shaft in favor of keeping Matty and it's ill-conceived sub-program afloat.

The figure looks great...but seems doubtful I'll end up getting him (sadly).

It's amusing how you are so optimistic about the sub, it's gonna go through don't worry even at 40% or whatever Mattel is gonna say that they had an epiphany and the sub goes through. The epiphany being: "oh snap, we're losing them the scare tactics and blackmail are not working, let's give them the figures anyway".

It seems that Mattel is anti retail, this figure would have most probably done well at retail since it's close to a recognized/classic look of a classic/recognized character. Stuff like this is what is needed at retail to keep a line afloat then again if Mattel realized this DCUC wouldn't probably be where it is now.

That's because I don't believe they really hit 100% last year....

Isn't Damian Wayne supposed to be 10? That figure is way too muscular.

The sad thing is everything collectible will eventually go the sub route... Most of the figures in retail will probably be the ones with limited articulation aimed at kids unless there is a movie tie in...

I just like how there's three threads covering the same topic.

So is there any figure reveal that can truly save the sub? Or do you think this was Mattel's last-ditch effort?

Don't you believe it. There's gonna be an extension or a last minute deluge of subscribers, or some other BS happenstance that allows Matty to continue the subscription.

Batzarro killed any desire to re-subscribe for me.

I've no problem with Batzarro anymore than any other Batman variant I've bought.

Plus I can pose him and Bizarro together and make the "World's Worst" team!!!

Besides, nothing can still top Rocket Red as the worst figure done.

It's been largely a year of monthly disappointments. Honestly, I can say Rocket Red didn't bother me. I was never an invested RR fan and the original design was such a clunker I had no problem with the modern version. No doubt one of the very few times I'll ever be able to say THAT! ( Yeah, Huntress! I'm looking right at you!) As for this size... Yeah, Mattel really botched that one inexcusably. Still all in all, RR doesn't bug me the way Batzarro does. What a way to end the sub!

No I for once think this is dead, I don't think its going through at all. And I am ok with that. I have Huntress coming and at this point I can live without anyone else that has not been made. I did sub but I just don't see it going through.
