Very cool, man all the companies are being very hush hush about their sdcc stuff, usually by now we would know what was going to out. Hasbro hasn't gave out much info.

The trap jaw parts are getting over used. I would have loved to see something else on them but they look awesome. I hope granita makes it to sometimes so the set would be complete :-)

They are saving those two for the sub... The Rock People are a lot better than waste of plastic Vikor...

Yeah i believe so too. Horde troopers are an army pack and people will buy a lot more of them if they arent exclusives and harder to get. I could see modulok as a sdcc but then again he would fit a beast slot just nicely.

I'll bet the "day of" versions will be packaged in their rock mode. Maybe that will sway MOC collectors from getting them, so I can get them, he he

I never cared for these figures.. They were one of theleast popular in the line too, so i'm very glad these are SDCC exclusives. It fits my philosophy that exclusives should be reissue, repaints, or of characters that are not essential to the line.

Way to go Mattel!

Do you mean like Strobo? Even early access people didn't get that one.

I think Strobo was a completely unique scenario, in that Mattel purposely limited him to create artificial demand and to annoy some sub holders. Strobo will be availible again later this year where Stondar and Rokkon may only be available "day of" in limited quantities. I just hope if I do have to buy them on ebay, they won't be ridiculously marked up like Strobo. So far it seems like a good amount of people don't like these guys, so that makes me feel a little better about "day of".

I would be more worried because if vykron sold out in 3 different versions then this pack will sell for sure. Lol

Happy at the fact that this is a very cool SDCC exclusive (makes up for the horrible one from last year), however sad at the fact that I'll NEVER own them.

But you can. Just depends on how much you want to spend to get them.

Normaly they will be in the early access that was mentioned last year that convention exclusives and non sub items will be in the early access. So these fit the program. I hope there is no package variant. I believe mattel will produce a lot more since these are vintage characters but you never know. I will wait for matty to put them on sale. If i miss them then i jump on ebay as fast as possible and get the best price.

I read some q&a's at matty and a guy asks about the legs who look different on the back of the package. Indeed they look way better with the extra sculpt and paint on them.

I have zero attachment or knowledge regarding the Rock Peoples.

That being said, they look really fun so I'm still psyched about getting them.
