I'm watching it now, and I love the fight between Iron Man and Thor!! I geek out when Thor jumps in the air and Cap repels him with his shield!! I also geek out when Thor gets Mjolnir back just in time to uppercut a rampaging Hulk coming toward him!!
Anyhow, any Marvel movies still make you smile like a little kid after watching it so many times??
Oh and any Stan Lee appearances also make me smile still!!

I almost want to buy all the Marvel movies just to have the Stan Lee cameos, but that would require me to buy Hulk and Spider-Man 3.
One special feature on sme Blu Ray should just compile all Stan cameos from every marvel movie. Unfortunately that would be stuck in red tape licensing issues between Marvel, Fox, and Sony.

After the wilderness fight scene I leaned over to my friend and said "I've already gotten my money's worth.
My favorite scene is when Cap gives the orders for the final battle and tells Hulk to smash. Goosebumps every time. It's even better at home in 3D.

Yes, perfect sentiments!!! Exactly how I feel!!! Its as if I were 12 again!! All that was missing was a copy of the Avengers in my pocket!!!
And yup, seeing the Autobots also just made me a kid all over!!
I'm really, really, really hoping that the new GI JOE movie will do the same!! I know I will shed a tear when I see those Rattlers in the sky on the big screen!!!
Anyhow, back to the topic!! I agree, I still laugh when Hulk just slams the hell out of Loki!!! Man in the theatre it was so loud I could not hear what he said as Hulk was walking away!! That's the kind of movie magic that made this movie succeed!!!
Robert Downy Jr. is Tony Stark!!! He brings a wit and slyness to the character that is perfect!! Like when Pepper is whispering in his ear, his reaction, golden!!! Looking forward to the next Marvel Universe movie with upmost anticipation!! I think Kingsley as the Mandarin will be awesome!!!

So when they came to the big screen, it was cool!! But the second X-Men movie, really had me geeking out!! Wolverine hunting down the soldiers was the greatest thing to a comic nerd like me!!!

Yes...the whole intro scene for Logan was awesome. It was definitely one of my all-time favorite comic book movie scenes. I've just always loved Hugh Jackman's take on Logan/Wolverine. He completely understands the character and nails it every time. I also really loved the scene where Magneto confronts the police at the train station. Ian McKellen just played the perfect Magneto in my opinion, although I wasn't sure about him at first.
Another scene I loved from the first X-Men film was when we see Xavier and Magneto meet at the congressional hearing. That scene perfectly distilled each character into their respective essence, and it perfectly established the conflict between them. It was...beautiful, for lack of a better term. (lol)

No matter how many times I view this movie, which is a lot, I get a good laugh out of this line!!
Cap's line about god is perfect!! And glad it was included, even with Whedon's personal beliefs!! Which shows his respect for the source material!! Also when Cap jumps, and he points his shield forward, geek moment!!

Me neither!! Especially with Whedon's expectations of topping not only the Avengers, but Iron Man 3!! According to him, it's raised the bar substantially!! So I can't wait to see that too!!
It's a great time to be a Marvel fan!!!

I'm expecting a grand battle with Thanos leading the charge, but how it's going to play out, I just don't know?? I'm hoping it'll be on a cosmic level, don't think poor Earth could stand such an epic battle??
But I have a sneaking suspicion that the Avengers lose this one?? They have to, all great story arcs, the second chapter is always the darkest!! If they do though, how will the next wave of solo films work then?? They lose and go their seperate ways?? Or with the next wave of films not appear until the 3rd Avengers movie??
So many different ways this could play out!! I'm just ready to be at the theatre with a smile on my face and my inner child just in awe!!

Why Hulk 3 is on the back burner is beyond me. Everyone would see that movie. People LOVED the Hulk in the Avengers, comic geeks and average movie goers alike.
How about a Hawkeye/Black Widow prequel? Seriously. Look at all the backstory they eluded to throughout the film. It was like Obi Wan talking about the old days in A New Hope.
And like A New Hope, this movie is going to be worthy of annual re-watching for some time to come. Just a great film!

I've never seen it put any better than that yojoe...it is indeed a gift to comic book fans. Watching it makes you feel like you did when you played with your action figures as a kid. It's just pure, unadulterated fun. You could just tell that everyone involved in making this film knew what comic book fans wanted to see, and made it happen on film. It's just awesome.
