Sucks about your derpy Dreadwing. After you first mentioned that, I made sure to inspect the head of the one I chose carefully before purchasing. Alot of them seem to have the eyes set too deep in the head. So you saved me from some derpiness, at least.

Surprise Microns! Buddy of mine gave me a set of the second wave of the gashapon microns in exchange for air brushing some stuff for him. Got the Megatron, Arcee, Bulkhead and grey shell turtle. Bulkhead is nifty and I need a second one. BULK HULK HANDS! Also got GDO Brawl from him.

Yeah I think the two I saw before I decided to just get the AM one were pretty bad too, unfortunately.

I scored a DOTM Bumblebee at Family Dollar for five bucks today. I had avoided any movie Bumblebee figures since the first series since I hated the mold of the first one. It was just so awkward and clunky-looking. I had assumed all the ones that followed were either straight-up repaints of that first mold or some slight variation. I was way wrong. One of my students brought one to school the other day, and I just went nuts over it. It seems very true to the actual movie version, and it seems to be fairly easy to transform, as opposed to the original. Also, it sports great articulation and colors. I couldn't be happier. It's really a great representation of the movie 'Bee. I love it.

Last wee was a veritable Fans-Project-Paloza! Five new figures which include Assaulter, Defender, and the TFSource exclusive "deluxe" Insecticons Plunder, Teardown, and Blockade.

Yesterday I got my first Dr. Wu item: The Captured Prey exclusive Broken Blade, meant to go with SG Optimus Prime.

Today I received a new highlight for my collection, a Lucky Draw micron. It is a gold chrome version of "Hades" the bat micron that came with Darkness Megatron. Tomorrow: MP Red Alert!
