I couldn't help but notice there was a black costume with silver cape, red costume, and a light blue suit with black arms (kinda Eradicator-ish color scheme) I wonder if these are reflective of anything we'll see in the movie (multiple suits or costumes a la Morrison's multi-colored Superman t-shirts in Action Comics) or if they're just the standard repaint themes for Superman in the past that Mattel is trying to capitilize on.

We knew the wacky "for the kids" toys would be on their way. Wake me when they show some Movie Masters.

I'm not to worried about it. These are MATTEL toys. Most of 'em will either break coming out of the package, or won't work period.

Lame it may be, but its these kiddiefied toys that catch retailer interest making way for the action figures. . . which probably won't be much better.

That's why retailers are so out of touch then. As a kid I hated crap like that and so did all my friends. I mean it just screams lame.

The ads kinda have an 80s vibe to them. I do kinda wonder how safe these toys are though. Hmm, am I getting old?

I can't believe with all the 5th, 6th, and 7th teer morts that get their own action figure, the most important supporting character to one of the top superheroes ever still has no figure.

After seeing that trailer a couple of months ago I have a bad feeling we're gonna see Long-Shoreman Clark before we get Lois.
