The sculpts for the new series is good and the actual toys do not look bad. I hope they will be available in Canada.

Now, the only thing that irks me is this heavily stylized design (over-proportioned gautlets, massive bulky chest) i don't get why they have to go crazy with that. I have to debate if I will pick up this series or hope that Playmates continues on with their TMNT classics and get to Shredder and the Foot. They better show stuff at SDCC to assure fans that they can pick up the Classics and not get stuck with just the four Turtles.

He only has articulation at the hip, elbows, and shoulders. Oh and head. I was a little disappointed about that but the sculpt is great!

That cape you have Shredder wearing, where/what is that from?
If you could, could you take a couple of pictures of the Kraang removed from the robotic body?
Also, could you take a picture of the back of Shredder's card? I'd love to read what his bio has to say about him.
Was there any paperwork that came with the figures? and if so, could you take a picture or two of it?

The cape I put on Shredder is actually the cape that came on the original Shredder figure back in the late 80s. After all these years I still have it and thought it added a bit more to the figure. The only paperwork that came with Leo and Don was a little booklet that showed all the figures and vehicles that will be available. I didn't keep them. Here's a few more pics.

Thank you for answering my questions and for the pictures. I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't recognize old Shredder's cape (then again, I never did have him growing up...). I might have to track down a loose cape for new Shredder.
It's good to see that Playmates didn't actually get rid of the Kraang's other arms, and that the reason it only appeared to have two in your photos, and in a stock photo from Playmates, was because the other arms were stowed away in the android body.

looking at the pic, he has 16 points of articulation. knees, hip (lateral and horizontal count individually), waist, wrist, elbow, shoulder (lateral and horizontal), and neck. i cant tell if the feet swivel. if they do than the total poa count would be 18.

I'm really like the turtles so far. The plastic used feels soft so it's easy to place the weapons in the turtles hands without worrying that the paint might scratch off.(Although no paint was applied to the weapons nor were the inner palms were painted)

I really like how Playmates chose softer plastic for the front shell to allow more mobility for the legs.

Guess what? The weapon racks from the vintage line are back. So far I think only the turtles and April comes with a weapons rack.
More pics and comments to come

My apologies if this seems like an violation of privacy, RockThe Plank. I will state this on the basis that members willing give personal info in bios.
I'm guessing Florida, "G-town" or something if the bio is up to date.
