As weird as it is to say this as I've collected everything so far, but I didn't know if I was going to buy it anyway. This might confirm it. Nothing at SDCC looks appealing to me.
The good news is that it's not the thank you gift. Toyguru let it slip that whatever the thank you gift is, it's been given the development cycle of a figure and it's why we haven't heard anything yet.

Im betting on Tony Scoleri...mostly because, if he's like Nunzio, hes a smaller figure with less articulation for tool parts. And thats not a complaint...would totally be awesome to be able to complete this duo as a "thank you."

You know,I knew this was goingto happen with the Ghostbusters line.Unlike MOTUC,there is just not enough characters to keep the line going.The Dana Barrett figure?yeah,I can pass on that.Same with Voltron.I am not sure how Mattel plans to expand that line either.

You've got a point, and I've mentioned it before too. There just isn't a huge wealth of characters to choose from with the GB line, just the facts. There are four main busters, and the rest is down hill. Now I would have loved to ride the whole way down that hill, I mean I want a Janine, a buster Tully, and don't get me started on all the ghosts that could be made for this. Point being that all the big bites have been taken from this pie, and all we have left is the crust. Personally I like the crust, but it's not for everyone.

They should have done an animated line, but that would require too many new sculpts and wouldn't be worth it for Mattel.

I like the crust, too, but I'm a super fan. If they made the mayor, he would be mine in a heartbeat, but I would completely understand if no one else felt that way. Yeah I want Gozer as the last figure. I totally missed out on the other one. You are right about Dana's biggest drawback being that she is more of a statue, I need to see a review before I can decide.

Wow Matty is charging $25 for the Dana figure??? At that price she better put out too... I haven't bought anything from Matty in close to a year, ever since the Club Infinite Earths wars to be exact. The only time that Ive bought a Mattel product was if it was on clearance, at Toys R Us for instance I found a DCUC Cyborg (the normal version, without the sonic arm bullsht) for $5... Sure the packaging looked like it was put in a fckin blender, but it was worth it... But since then I haven't bought anything that they have sold directly on their website.

The only way that I see myself getting this figure, is if its on sale at under $15 (that's including the extortion charges, which Matty sugar-coats by calling them "shipping and taxes" instead). Other than that, I don't think that its worth anything above $20 (with the extortion charges included).

And here I thought "Toy guru" only sucked at PR and character design (mighty specturd), it seems I was wrong and the man is multitalented, as he also sucks big time at toy reviews (no close ups at all).

On topic, I'm actually not really liking Dana that much, not only is she basically a statue she doesn't even have Sigourney's likeness. Maybe Matty couldn't get the rights so they went with generic look and only movie accurate outfit.

Haha! That's hilarious man, and I agree with you. Pixel Dan's reviews, makes Neitlich look like a freakin novice... Also one would think that after the many years that Matty has become an extortion racket, (and to a lesser degree a shylock business), they could have at least gotten a budget for a camera with zoom in/out capability... The damn looks like someone recorded it with a fckin Fisher Price camcorder... .

As far as this video goes, he really seems to gloss over Dana. He doesn't really try and sell it at all, its kind of like "oh yeah, we got this Dana figure too, but seriously check out this other thing on Spiker, I mean Spikor, and don't forget how awesome Vykron is"

I really do want to want this figure, but Matty kind of pissed me off with this. Doesn't really look good, has no articulation, costs us an EXTRA $3 on top of the already high $22 price (sold directly from the company itself mind you, no middleman required so the profit margins are even higher) and we still are getting a sub-par figure. The whole GB/Matty relationship feels like a bad marriage. One has lost interest in the other, but they are still obligated to stay together for a little longer.

I passed on this item, but a friend of mine that loves the ghostbuster line bought it and said it wasn't much more than a statue. If they do release anymore figures they will probably rereleases.

I passed on her too. I really was looking forward to her but after seeing she has no articulation and looks nothing not even a lil bit like weaver i passed. But i have my 4 busters in the custom ecto 1 i made and vego so i could not be happier. Belive it or not mattel sent me 2 vego's why i have no idea
