First things first, after last night the Cowboys are officially done. No Romo, no chance at the playoffs.
Will the streak end? Favre has two fractures in his ankle, but until I see someone else take the first snap Sunday, I don't beleive it is done.
Do you really want to see Boise State versus TCU in the national Championship game?
Right now, there are 7 true playoff teams in the AFC (Steelers, Ravens, Patriots, Jets, Colts, Titans, and Chiefs) and 2 in the NFC (Falcons and Giants). Who is going to make the playoffs and why?

Other than that.. I fully expect the Packers and Vikings to turn things around and be pretty good.. along with the Eagles, Falcons, and Giants.
Playoffs:
AFC:
East - Jets
North - Ravens
South - Colts
West - Chargers
wild cards - Patriots, Steelers
NFC:
East - Giants
North - Packers
South - Falcons
West - Seahawks
Wildcards - Eagles, Saints

I think it is a long shot for the Chargers to get back in the hunt, but crazier things have happened.

long shot yes, and no. They are only 2 wins behind the Chiefs for the division. they lost both of their last 2 games by only 3 points. they have 5 home games left. they are getting Vincent Jackson back for the final stretch. and they have a really soft schedule going forward, with only 3 good teams left (Titans, Texans, Colts). I think the Chiefs will start fading soon. They lost all the games they played against decent teams, lose all their road games, and have been a bad team for a while.

Considering I live in Texas...Damn. Could the Cowboys be more pathetic? I've even heard talk about how it's a shame that they cannot forfeit their remaining games since they are so bad. Oh well. If they WERE winning, Jerry Jones would be sticking his face in the camera every 5 seconds as if to take credit for the wins.

Three people need to leave in order for there to be any hope:
Randy Moss: Has done nothing since he came back (Looks like he's on the way out with his "I love you and I miss you, Patriots" speech). Good bye. Again.
Brad Childress: I gave him a pass for a long time. He has no idea how to utilize this team's talent.
Brett Favre: I'm sorry, I know it's tough, but you need to retire.
Maybe with any luck all three will be gone next year. Then we'll stand a good chance.

I wouldn't be upset about that, but the Bears need some better offensive linemen. Having Randy Moss wouldn't mean d!<# if Cutler is always forced to throw passes off while laying on his back. The Giants exposed a serious weakness in Mike Martz playbook and we've been messed up ever since. The front line is weak. They either learn the dance or get some new fat boys up front.
Also I don't think Moss and Martz would get along. MM doesn't cater to egos.

yeah, I know we need better linemen. Hell, anybody that ever watched the Bears play the past few seasons knows that! They are a total joke.
But Moss would definitely be an upgrade at the receivers we have now. And he would cause double teams on every play, helping the other receivers actually get better. And I think that him and Cutler could have had an amazing deep threat combo. Plus, Moss might have actually tried hard for us just to piss off the Vikings... and we are still in it..
well, not anymore that we didn't even try to get him.
I honestly thought we would because the coaches and Angelo should be in desperation mode by now

I miss watching the guy play. My eyes were always glued on him on defense...such a great talent and such a loss to football.
