they had to use soft plastic for the big sword only complaint right now

I can understand why though... Some stupid kid is going to poke himself in the eye...

once again toy safety crap ruins it for us adult collectors eh. I still am going to buy Drift though

I wonder how MOTUC does it... I mean, there are a few soft accessories here and there, but the swords are generally really solid and don't warp. Yes, MOTUC is designed for adult collectors, but Toy Guru said that they go through all the same safety tests as any other toy they sell.

I'm sure they do, but MOTU stuff is sold SPECIFICALLY to adult collectors where as TFs are marketed (dare I say specifically?) to kids. So a different target audience makes all the difference. I also have to wonder if MOTU only being available only has any effect?

Its not the Henkie mold that had a black face the version has a white face

When Crow said Henkei mold, he is referring to the actual mold of the fig, not the facial paint application; the Henkei version has its wings designed like the G1 version whereas the Botcon version is simply a repaint of Ramjet.

Considering that the Botcon version is a con exclusive,it is more than likely the upcommin' Classic Dirge uses the Henkei mold.

U know looking at that pic of Red and Dift I can see them redoing Dift as Streetwise. The body and car mode will work well with him.
