For those who didn't see, Chris Henry (law-abiding impaired receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals) died today after falling out of a pickup truck on Wednesday during a dispute with his fiancee. He was 26.

That sucked too!
I was hoping to see a Super Bowl between two undefeated teams, which would have been a first. I thought a COLTS vs SAINTS Super Bowl would be a good anyway, and still COULD be, but how awesome would it be if both were undefeated? A TRUE champion deciding game?
Oh well, maybe I'll have to root for an OHIO team now and hope the Bengals can work a miracle here?

Good thing for me I'm probably a bigger Blackhawks fan than Bears and most definitely over the Bulls.
I don't know how much people outside of Chicago can appreciate all that has happened with this team in recent years but it's gotta be one of the greatest stories in sports over the last 5 years.

I had two scenarios picked out for the Super Bowl this year...
A Vikings vs Bengals match up, because I liked how well Farve was doing this year and I'm a browns fan but with their record I'm shifting over to the next best OHIO team and there ya have it.
OR..
like I mentioned earlier, a match up between two undefeated teams, for a first in the history of the super bowl, but that was ruined thursady night.
My luck, it will end up being the Cowboys and the Chargers or something.

Football talk- I think the Colts go unbeaten. They may have what it takes to do what the Patriots failed on. Shocked to see the Cowboys beat the Saints. The Vikings played like crap last night and I am not shocked as a lifelong fan. All they do is cause heartbreak, much like the Cubs and Red Sox from about the 1920's up until a few years ago. They will not win the Superbowl this year. Most likely they get bounced in the NFC championship.
Baseball- the Twins need to sign Joe Mauer to a long term deal or there will be a torches and pitchforks march against the management and owners. The citizens of Minneapolis and Hennepin County just built them a new ballpark and they better put some money into the team. Target Field looks incredible, BTW. Can't wait to see a major league game outdoors again. It's been far too long since we've had that here.
