For resellers I don't know, but if I had to guess, I would say He-Man, because there are always new fans who will want the main good guy in their collections. The fact is that He-Man will always be far more popular than Scareglow.

I think Scareglow will also outsell the He-Man reissue.

I say He-Man will be the bigger seller.

I was still collecting. Indeed, I'm still collecting now.
I LOVED Scareglow as a kid...more than He-Man, to be honest, but I've always been a villains guy. I always thought he really was Skeletor's ghost, though, which made me sad because I didn't want Skeletor to die.

Indeed. Another thing to remember. A lot of people weren't collecting these at the beginning. This is the first oppurtunity for a lot of collectors to get He-Man at a non-scalper inflated price. And it's HE-MAN. I mean, if you're only going to buy one MOTU Classics figure, who's it going to be for a bunch of people? He-Man. I'm surprised Matty didn't take that into account.

Me, too. I have no idea how many He-Man reissues they made, but clearly they could have made more. I would guess they'll do another re-release sometime.
Battle Armor He-Man does come out in January, though. Maybe they didn't want to overproduce regular He-Man and hurt potential sales for BA He-Man.

Don't forget that The only subscription figure was ScareGlow. Matty Stated The Re-issue He-Man was a bonus figure, so the fact that he sold out so fast is a good sign.
Mattel will be watching the Bonus figure sales they said to determine if Bonus figures are worth creating, they said if they don't sell well they will just place them in the line as a monthly figure so He-Mans sellout in seven hours is good for Mattel and us. I'm sure Skeletor will sell out fast also so seeing how the subscription figures seem to last over a day I'm grabing Skeletor in my cart first and then Randor when I order next month.

I agree with you Eric, I got my Tri_klops on Ebay for $15.50 with free shiiping and he arrived Saturday still sealed in his white box.
We all need to remember that Matty lets you order up to ten of any figure at one time. Just because heman sold out in seven hours doesn't mean Mattel didn't make a decent amount of him. Lots of people have pre sell ebay auctions so they have to buy ten at a time. Anyone who missed out on him start checking ebay for a good deal and wait for the auction to be in the last minute before ending and snipe it. Thats how I won Tri-Klops

Well, I would assume that Mattel made more Scareglows than He-Mans(He-Men?) since Scareglow is the new figure. So if Scareglow sold out in two days and He-Man sold out in one, that doesn't mean Scareglow didn't sell the same amount or more than He-Man on the first day.
