I was trying to find....well whatever damn wave is supposed to be out. I was actually hoping to find more Para-Vipers and Cobra Bazooka Troopers since I know for certain they have been available here. I managed to locate the Ranking Senior Officer sets, surprisingly, and decided to get them too. I digress though. I went to an out of the way Walmart and I found this Duke (and nothing else new).

So I thought I would share.

There are shaded characters on the back.

The one on the right I'm 98% certain is Falcon. The other one kinda looks like v1 Roadblock which means it COULD be Resolute Roadblock.

I think he is an excellent figure...though, his head is a bit off, and his gun is molded into the leg holster

I only wish he was sculpted (mainly the head) in porportion with the other 25th figures.

I actually find myself liking the Resolute designs quite a bit.

That must be one hell of a snack.

Probably but we haven't heard anything on the 'toon in a while. What we do know is that it will be more adult, totaling an hour long (or was it half an hour?), possibly be web cast with the possiblity of CN showwing it, and that Hasbro is making toys for it. No real when or where. I would think that Hasbro would want to hurry up and get it out there so as not canibalize the movie marketing.

I saw the Resolute figures at my Wally as well, I picked up the Trooper but haven't opened him, I passed on the rest of them.

Yup the snack made me sleep ;)

I"m going to have to do this review a little different from my Transformer ones. I like the look but the figure itself is rather disappointing.

Posted Image

The face is a lot fuller/rounder (and larger it seems) compared to previous versions.

Posted Image

If you look at the submachine gun, it has a peg on the left side up above the clip. I looked over the figure, but I could not find any peg holes where the gun might be hung/slung. Anyone have any clue what it is for?

Posted Image

The second pic of the vest shows the peg for his back which I think is unnecessary. If you look at the pic of him wearing the vest, you can see that the left strap doesn't sit flat his shoulder.

Posted Image

Also, if you look at the legs, he has a spread leg stance and you can't move them closer then that and have it look natural. His feet have the 25th articulation, but since the pants go down over his feet, it is wasted.

The biggest disappointment is the holster.

Posted Image

Hasbro was able to give useable holsters to practically everbody, so why not here?

Other comments: The hands are shaped for "trigger holding" but mine are pretty wide open so they don't hold the guns well. I know there is a way to fix it, but I forget how off the top of my head. He just needs a bicycle or skater helmet. The mold is very simplistic, but I'm not sure WHAT that thing on his right thigh is. It's just "there" (no pouch or holster or anything).

Grade: B-. As far as being an intial offering of what is instore for Resolute, they have had 2 years now to get it right so why are we STILL seeing flaws? Whether or not Resolute is just a "side line" to advertise the internet series, they KNOW what we like yet they can't seem to follow through 100%.

Yeah, saw this guy at Wal-Mart today with Resolute CC and pretty much all of wave 13 except for Blowtorch-- apparently Wal-Marts and Targets are only allowed to get odd numbered waves! @grumpy@ I gotta say that he looked better to me in pics than in person. I walked away liking my Tiger Force Duke even more. Resolute CC had a fairly big head, too, kinda like a throwback to the '80s, though he was cooler than the Duke.

Thanks for the review / pics. I was reluctant on resolut figures especially Duke, and now
DO NOT WANT.

Especially the elbow articulation, I'm mean he better be able to bend his elbows 90 degrees to have that huge chunk missing out of the side.

That is V1 Roadblock. However, the Resolute figures have had new card art, so I doubt it will be Resolute Roadblock.

My guess is Tigerforce Roadblock.

Whatever sizzle I had for the figure is going the way of the fizzle.

I think fans are loving this Duke better than the 25th Duke or Comic Pack

I'm just hyped for the eventual Resolute Snake Eyes. Go figure, sick to death of the godless amount of SE variants out there but the character design for his Resolute incarnation is bad ass albeit somewhat basic.
