Anyway, I started playing Sonic and the Black Knight on Wii and finally learned how to deal with exploding blue spheres now. =] I've been busy with getting a part-time job, trying to figure out on how to program games on Flash (It's fairly limited, comparing to C++ and other advanced stuff, I could think.) with how-to-program-games-in-Flash-for-Dummies book. It isn't that great, though. Most of time, it doesn't give you enough details, some steps can be little vague, and the book is VERY outdated, only for very old version of Flash, which was in 2004... Damn. >:/ I did learn how to read code a little, though!

Almost two months ago, I took a trip to a town that is 40 minutes away from my home, they have bigger Toys R US and better stores there than where I live. Toys R US there always get new stuff few months faster than here as well! I found Tails Rider, Wave, and Storm there, but I was low on money when I went there with my sister and only brought a few stuff. But on second trip to there, I got Tails Rider and Storm! Wave was oddly not there, though. Dang. lol

I don't really.. get much of Sonic stuff to say, I'm afraid. =/ Oh, and I'd love to have real Sonic shoes someday. Not crappy sneakers that have shoelaces or a lot weird details that Sonic's shoes doesn't normally have. I may actually go make them myself; slipper version. You know? So, I wear them indoors only. lol I don't know when I'll make them but I will if well-made Sonic's shoes don't come in stores or something accessible for everyone to buy and own. They do exist; soft version, but those were prizes by Sega in 2009, which is impossible for me to get. : /

This is the one I talked about... I wish I got my hands on those. lol

I've been thinking the same thing with Sonic shoes. People make them with too much detail, and the only good way to get them is to make them yourself.

Also, it's wonderful that you're trying to learn flash. I've always wanted to myself.

Yes, but I felt like I hit my limit while trying to learn how to code, I went to final chapter where it tell you to download handmade games by author, and I loaded a few of them, took a very good look at their source code, they were kind of bad. Even for a newbie for me could tell. I wish there's something that'll actually teach me to make my own code, that kind of thing... It isn't easy as I've hoped for. The only way to learn how to program video games yourself is going to college, and I don't want to go to college. Looking it up online is hopeless because they often have no information or tell you to try video game programs.

Yeah, the only way to get well-made Sonic's Shoes is make them, like you said.. =/
You know, Project X Zone...
I think title makes sense; Nacom have made games that have Project in title, Capcom made Megaman X games, and Sega made games that have Zones as stages. Together; Project X Zone! Oddly enough, Sonic is Sega's biggest mascot but he didn't make appearance for that game, maybe not yet... Game is 50% finished and dated to come in late 2012 for 3DS this year, there is a good chance that roster may double later, maybe Sonic will show up as unlockable character, you know?

Meh. Isn't it weird how Sonic stuff *always* get leaked? Sonic 4 I was leaked as well. =_=

I have zero interest in getting Sonic 4 II, it's just... not something I really want.

My opinions of why I don't want Sonic 4 II.
You can't really play as Tails, only player 2 can. What does that mean? No Super Tails gameplay, Sonic gameplay only, etc. I also noticed something in Sonic 4 II videos that Tails is *often* used as support abuse, ruining the challenge of game. You could fall off a cliff, then summon Tails to pull you out. Cheap. I mean.. you could avoid using that but you can't, though. It's actually required for some parts of zones where you can't jump high enough to land on higher cliff or breaking strong walls with special combo roll thingy.

Not just that, this game isn't for Wii, due to high graphic reasons; which isn't really... fair, for Wii owners including myself. I heard that if you get both episodes, you get Metal Episode with playable Metal Sonic (which is exactly same as Sonic, another disappointment), but think about it. That may piss off some of Wii owners, but me; I just.. don't care. I liked Sonic 4 I, oh but it was too short. Plus, to get Sonic 4 II without Wii, wouldn't you need Steam for that? I hate Steam... A lot. Seriously; I didn't see this coming; that you could need both episodes for Metal Episode, but Wii owners can't get that. I almost felt like I got ripped off somehow.

Honestly, I love Sonic games, I'm just starting to get bored of having to play as Sonic all the dang time. =/ You know the feeling? I mean.. there were great main Sonic games that actually have playable characters like Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Shadow, Blaze.. What happened to that? I do know that it mean longer development, but it means more fun for fans.. =/ With more characters, you have more reasons to replay stages, but with different characters for different paths or just for fun.

This is actually why I started playing Sonic Black Knight again because it got playable Blaze/Shadow/Knuckles. Well... that and because it's a great fun game. (My opinions)

Just want you know... I'm not hating on a Sonic game just because it lacks other playable characters, there's many other reasons as well. In few last recent Sonic games, it doesn't feel like they added any of extra replay context that could make you want to play more. To me, today's Sonic games are all about reaching a goal with high score, nothing more. : / If it had emblems, you'd have a goal to try and collect all of them, along with unlocking costumes for 2p mode, playable Metal Sonic, whole new stage, and so much more. That's one of many reasons why I loved SA2B, SADX, and Sonic Heroes. I know about red rings, but in recent games, they don't really give you any amazing unlockable stuff. If it had Tiny Chao Garden or Chao World, I'd love to replay stages so many times to collect rings to buy things for Chao gardens; not just that; you could also kill robots or find hidden animals to make your Chao stronger to complete in races or karate fights.

What happened to that? Honestly, it's just Sonic; reach goal with high rank/score and find red rings. I couldn't get myself to enjoy that much.

So...
I am passing on Sonic 4 II this time around.

Well damn! I didn't know that. I do wonder why it's not in single player mode, but that's good. It looks very weird for Sonic to spin in air endlessly following Tails, though.

I love it when a company put a lot of characters into their game from other series, because it usually encourage you to do some research on other characters and learn about their games and eventually get games for them. I learned a lot about Star Fox, Pikmon, Fire Emblem, and Earthbound, thanks to Super Smash Bros series! Oh but I already know who is Ristar and Vectorman since the day of getting Sonic Gems Collection. Man... those games are awesome. It's a HUGE deal for me that they get to be playable. (: I hope Billy Hatcher will be playable again, he was my main favorite in original game. =]

It's been good for me. In the downtime for Sonic, I've been getting more and more into Power Rangers/Super Sentai. Starting a collection of Yellow Rangers, and I'm 5 rangers in so far. I think I've got like...15 stateside to go. Then there's all the sentai only stuff.

With the lack of new Sonic figures since late last year, I haven't been too motivated to work on Sonic related customs. I've also been picking up some of the new Marvel Legends that have come out recently. With school ending next week I'll have some more free time to work on customs since I'll still be working only part time.

They showed up on ebay randomly, they ARE NOT the 3 inch pack, we have a new 2 inch set much like the gacha figures, Im guessing these sort of officially coincide with the little classic set. Same characters too, minus super sonic. ANOTHER new metal sonic figure, so this pack is a must have for me, Id like to see a better out of box shot though. They look pretty decent enough.

I'm definitely going to be picking up the new All-Stars Racing. It looks awesome. I'm hoping the boat segments play like Hydro Thunder. Sonic, Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, and Hydro Thunder . . . brings me back to the Dreamcast days

As for Ep.II, the "collector" in me still refuses to pay for games that are DL-only (though I've made a few exceptions for DLC add-ons for Mass Effect). If they release all of Sonic 4 together on a disc eventually, I'll pick it up. Until then, I'll pass.

That Nendodroid Sonic is adorable and I love all of his accessories. But I think I've reached a point where any more Sonic's in my room is starting to get ridiculous. I've actually packed a few away into the attic to make some room for Marvel and Mass Effect stuff.

I'll absolutely be buying every member of Sonic's supporting cast that is released in Jazware's 3" scale (and probably any vehicles too) but any more of Sonic HIMSELF I may be holding back on . . . *sees F4F's new Modern Sonic Statue* . . . God Damn it . . .

Oh and to Mr. Amaro, thanks for the heads up. I submitted two questions on Fwoosh's facebook and they said they'd try to work it into the interview. Now does anyone have any idea where to find the interview?

During my Sonic downtime I've been focusing on Transformers and Hero Factory as well as video games. I can't wait until we get new Sonic figures. I purchased Sonic 4 Episode 2. I think it's better than the first.
