IMAX Corporation, DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures announced today that "TRANSFORMERS," one of the highest grossing movies of the year, will be digitally re-mastered into IMAX's immersive format and released to IMAX® theatres on September 21. Never been to a imax what is the big deal?. Actually I Think I have a couple of times now that I think of it for school stuff way back... but all I remember is a really really big screen :S

Yeah it's just an "enhanced" version, which is basically being bigger and louder. I would think some things might stand out a bit more than before, I could be wrong. I've never been to an Imax movie and I was hoping this would come out.


Should be interesting to see how the numbers start to jump again when it comes out. I really don't know if there are even enough Imax theaters to make that big of a difference though.

Everyone has to see it Imax style just to see the extra footage.

I just hope it's something that adds a bit to the overall movie and not just a few hardly noticeable added in shots here and there.

I did like it and saw it twice. What I mean is that I wouldn't go see it again in Imax if it wasn't for the extra footage...but even then I think I rather save the 20 dollars and just wait for the DVD.

IMAX is AWESOME. The Sreens So Humongous It Puts you inside the Movie. Im gonna definetly go see it on Imax.

Definately seeing this one on imax...should have not seen it so many times in the regular theatre lol.
