We got more 30th Anniversary figures in this week, and Hasbro is apparently switching them up with revision cases and the brand new Wave 3. I don't know about the rest of the country, but Wave 3 is showing up in the Maryland/Washington D.C. area.

Wave 2.5 consists of:

*Utaupau Obi-Wan
*Flamin' Super Battle Droid
*Airborne Trooper x2
*Galactic Marine
*Death Star Trooper x2
*Oil Slick R2-D2
*Han Solo
*Ceremonial Luke
*McQuarrie Stormtrooper
*McQuarrie Boba Fett
(X-Wing Biggs and Rebel Honor Guard have been omitted from this wave)

Wave 3 consists of:

*Darth Vader (with Obi-Wan robes) x2
*Deleted Scene Biggs Darklighter x2
*Luke Skywalker (with Vaporator) x2
*Super-articulated Jawa with LIN Droid x2
*VOTC Stormtrooper (with removable helmet) x2
*McQuarrie Chewbacca x2

I'll be doing reviews on Wave 3 as time permits. Just a heads up...

Oh boy, almost worth the trip to work tonight to see if they updated the truck, printed out the manifest and cleaned up warehouse.

I almost got excited about this then I realized that I have 4 targets 3 walmarts (one in walking distance) and not one of them ever gets any of the new stuff, or if they do/did, scalpers bought the cases and the store worker bees them selves have the new stuff stashed away till next pay check.

It's either be at any of the stores right when they open or do a full shake down of the store if anything I want is still logged into their computers. Neither of which I really care to do.

Remember the good old days where you just walked in the store right when things come out and you can actually find/get it????

I miss those days, it was so much fun.

I hear that, all my local stores are cluttered with stupid Obi-wans and nothing else. I haven't even found Biggs or Boba Fett yet. My area is infested with scalpers..........it's sh*t kickin' time.

It's yet another reissue of the 2005 500th Vader...with a puddle of brown plastic goo that vaguely resembles Kenobi's robes. You'll find that all of the Vaders in the TAC line will just be reissues.

The only thing I want from this wave is Stormtroopers and Death Star Troopers. I'm about ready to try scalpers on the Death Star Troopers.

Nope, it's the cool evolutions one and hopfully with the anikan head. But it will be one with removable mask regardless.

Huh...

I'll have to go dig Evolutions Vader out and take a closer look at him. I thought the 500th Vader was a repack of the Evolutions version...same ball-socket joints and all...

oh good no, 500th has that slanted elbow articulation. Plus the only the helmets removable not the whole mask like the evolutions.

The only big mystery is whether or not it will be hydens face or the older guy will see under the mask.

An interesting note at my Walmart:
We finally got in Star Wars figures, including ONE case of wave 2 revision 3 (drops the extra Airborne and DS Trooper for a Mace and Lava Miner), but TWO cases of wave 8 06

I didn't notice any off the TRU truck yesterday, only had me and two other guys to offload the truck. I almost wish I could call in sick at the post office, since the vice president and the person in charge of MERCHANDISING (yes the person responsible for putting the toys on trucks and out to stores) is coming in this morning. I would SOOO love to yell at them and tell them that when something says we need FOUR boxes of product on the floor we should HAVE four boxes of it in the truck. It will be interesting to hear what they have to say, especially since everyone in the warehouse busted our collective butts to get the freight cut down to only 5 pallets and 3 u boats of restock.

I'm getting photos together of the Wave 3 figures, as well as reviews finished up. I'll start posting them soon.

On a side note, Wave 4's CZ-3 Secretary Droid is already showing up on eBay from a "Hasbro Direct Distributor." Hmm...
