  1. I just checked online and federation models has a few of them at reasonable prices.
  2. Unfortunately, I have had the best success on ebay for specific ships. However, some comic stores have been selling the Wave 2 ships from the furuta brand. The problem is, these ships are addictive! Not only are there 3 waves of Furuta, but there are 2 waves of a brand called Romando. These ships were made of flimsy plastic, like micromachines, but they were to scale (especially wave 2). If the ship was really small, then there were 2 versions in the box: 1 lerger one and one to scale with the rest of the line. Also, each ship in wave 2 came with the pieces to build a scale DS-9 station. Finally, a japanse company called F-toys came out with more ships. they run in 2 sizes; 1:2500 scale and 1:5000 scale. The first and only wave so far was the NX-01, 1701, 1701-A, Defiant, 1701-D (1:5000 scale) and a variant Mirror Universe NX-01.
  3. I now have two of them, and neither have "HMS Bounty" on them. I think that version is coming out later.

  5. I have the bird of prey, but have not seen the new enterprise out yet. The BOP wings do move up and down, and they click into position, so they will stay put. It looks more to scale with the AA enterprise-A, than the upcoming -D.
  6. I found a sonic arm cyborg this morning at a walmart in Austin. I'll have to look out for the maskless batman beyond!
  7. Having had these ships for a while now, I noticed a few odd details. On the Enterprise-D, I noticed on the top of the Saucer that a few of the lifeboats are missing. They are near the same level with the ship's registry number, and should be in clusters of 2. However, a couple from some clusters are missing, but you can tell they should be there because there are indentions in the hull where they should be. Also, on the captain's yacht, there is a missing arc segment (the 2 arcs that surround the circular protrusion [engine?] from the middle of the yacht). On the Enterprise(not)-A, they added a fourth phaser bank to the top of the saucer that faces aft. It is on the same level as the rest of the saucer phasers. Also, the ship is missing the 2 single phasers above the shuttle bay, and the group of 4 belly phasers (but those might be hidden by the stand hole).
  8. the obvious question is where? Which TRUs have them, and what part of the country? Checked out my local TRU, and they had the 12" figures on the shelf. However, a VERY helpful manager checked the back and pulled out the 6" figures, the 3.75" figures, the Bridge and Transporter Room playsets, and the Enterprise herself. I bought the 6" Kirk and the Enterprise, but thinking about going back for a 3.75" Kirk and Spock. Don't have a camera to take pics, but my Enterprise was okay... there was some glue slop the junction of the secondary hull and warp engine pylons, as well as some slop on one of the warp engines. This was nothing too major, and some fine sandpaper would get rid of it if it starts to REALLY bother me. Also, it did not come with batteries, which makes some sense since there is no "try me" option for the ship. I am a bit dissapointed about not having seperate buttons for the sounds, and that there is movie dialogue attached to most of them. Also, my bridge button seems to stick every now and again. Also, the ship is smaller than I imagined, given the size of the box. However, all this said, I absolutely love the toy and was so excited to see new Trek on the shelves again!

  10. Thanks! I was out of the loop for a couple of weeks, so this is new to me.
  11. I may have missed the boat on this, but is that a Zartan figure next to Scarlett? Is he going to be in the movie? Btw, will pass on all of the vehicles but the night raven so far.

    Target Sale

Maybe it was an unopened return that someone took pity on? I don't think so - they had at least 12 of them, and I bought 2 at that price.

    Target Sale

Not sure what the deal is, but I have been to several Austin-area Targets, and NONE of them have this set on sale either. It is just that one Target in South Austin.

    Target Sale

This weekend, I stopped by the Target Greatland in South Austin, and they had the Ultimate Battle Pack down from $62.99 to $33.99. I have constantly passed on it, but could not refuse for $34! They had plenty on the top shelves, but I amnot sure if it is just for that store, or all Targets.
