  1. I love Captain Britain. New Excalibur doesn't tickle my fancy, but that custom sure does. Really good work.
  2. That classic X-Men box set is excellent. I still have it in storage, along with some other 5" toybiz stuff. I was actually pretty reluctant to convert to a 6" scale at some point, but bit the bullet. Glad I did. I'm also very fond of AoA Magneto, the second version of Deadpool, the MvC Captain America and a few others. Makes me want to go get them from storage.
  3. Uh, I have some stuff in a box. Though it's all stuff I want to keep, it's just not displayworthy.
  4. I found Classics Mirage tonight. Though apparently Toys R Us is charging $12.99 for the regular Classics figures now. It took me off guard when t rang up, but then I looked back at the aisle and the pricepoint was $12.99. Haven't opened it yet... though I'm sure it's not worth $12.99.
  5. I'd like that Captain America, since the Ultimate one is the one I missed out on. I like the Magneto well enough, and I've missed all the others. I know it's comic-accurate, but I don't like that he goes gloveless. I guess it's a small complaint and I'll get it anyway. I already have a Cyclops, and that's enough. And like everyone else, as much as I love him, I'm already up to my ears in Wolverines. I have 3 not on display for crying out loud, rotting in a box.
  6. I actually really just like the plain old MSIAs. They're great toys, and while they do have their flaws, they're usually sturdy, fun and look very good. Especially the battle scarred ones they had a few years back. That being said, MSIA Zakrello is the best toy ever.
  7. There was that subset, and it crept into other ones too, such as studio. I wish I remembered the official name, but it had some cool sets. I think I still have some of it at my parents' house. Though God help me if I ever move all of that stuff here. There'd be no room whatsoever.
  8. I've seen them. They look really cool... the Aquazone sets were some of my favorites back in the day. I also regret not picking up that Alpha Team squid submarine... I've always had a soft spot for underwater stuff. If anyone buys any, let me know how they are.
  9. The game has Luke Cage, so it'd be cool to have Iron Fist in it as well. It would be great to get Captain Marvel and Hawkeye on the 360 version, as I'd love both of those characters, but not enough to warrant buying it again on PSP. Vision, Punisher and Captain Britain (thoguh that one's just a pipe dream) would be fantastic. But come on... they already had an AMAZING character selection. I was able to build my dream team of classic jumpsuit Ghost Rider, Beta Ray Bill and Dr. Strange. And they also had Daredevil and Ms. Marvel. One of the best games ever. It sure beat the crap out of Justice League Heroes. Which I also, unfortunately, bought.
  10. I think it's a fantastic line... but Lt. Stone blows everything else away. He's packed with so much stuff, he's fun and great in every regard.
  11. Damn. I'm always happy when I look at my shelves, but I have a lot to aspire to.
  12. The ribcage on Kingpin looks great. So do your action shots.
  13. Ice Cream Soldier has always been one of my favorites. How do those colors -not- work for a flamethrower guy? I'm Dustin. I'm 22 and live in Idaho. Some of my earliest memories involve GI Joe. I've always loved it, and still do. I mainly collect Marvel and DC stuff, but I'll buy something GI Joe or Transformers related if it catches my eye. GI Joe usually wins out over Transformers these days, though. I'm going to school for English and Communications. I work for the liberal media (local public radio station) and hope to write for a living some day. I love music (mostly punk, garage, noise rock, new wave and metal, though I like a lot more than that) and play in 2 bands. Here's a picture. Also, I want to purchase a Luger.
