90s Jubilee X-Men custom

I took advantage of my two week Christmas break to do my 90s Jubilee custom. This has been one of the few figures I still want to be made. Seeing as how Hasbro went with the modern/vampire Jubilee, I think it's unlikely they'll do another one anytime soon so I pulled the trigger and got her done on my own. I'm pretty proud of this one for a few reasons:

 

I assembled all the Jubilee BAF parts at no cost. Took advantage of a 20% toy sale at a LCS, turned around and sold the loose X-Men figures off at cost and made my money back.

 

Having this version of Jubilee completes my X-Men Animated AND Jim Lee Blue teams (the animated team is one of my two favorite X-Men rosters of all time along with the Claremont/Byrne team).

 

Also, not being an expert customizer, I have to say this is my favorite custom job ever. I really like how she turned out.

 

Most of it is just a straight repaint but I did use some sculpy on the stomach to give her t-shirt detail. I also use styrine strips for the top and bottom of her shorts. Did some dry brushing for the blue jeans look.

Great Job man.....love the lineup....wish I could do a decent Xmen lineup but most of my figs are out of place w/each other concerning the costumes they were using at the time....great pics man

Thanks! I was hesitant to do this considering the figure as-is goes for so much. I knew there was a chance I'd mess it up but I'm happy with it.

she looks great! i love the added shirt wrinkles, it makes for a nice improvement.
