Yeah the first one was a pure disaster. I havent either because silver samurai looks like a stupid robot. I grew tired of changing things like these. I hear good reviews though and that the scene after the credits is mind blowing. that actually gets me more curious then the movie itself, lol.

I also read that it didn't do well domestically although that was in my opinion by Hollywood standards.

Your summer movies now need to gross $90 million opening weekend lest Hollywood dub it a "disappointment". In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Hollywood pull a Mattel and blame the fans who didn't show up opening weekend for the low numbers and threaten not to make a Wolverine 3 :)

I haven't seen it either. Fiance was sick all weekend and she wants to go too.

Couple things I've heard: There's an "awkward" scene with Jean Grey (?) This was a headline on one of those yahoo "news" blurbs. And since they constantly use words like "awkward", "gaffe", and "bizarre" to get people to pay attention an click the link, this really could mean anything.

After credits scene leads into Days of Future Past. So stick around.

I saw it, and enjoyed it very much!! It's no X2, but it's def no Origins!!! Good action, and great scenery!! A bit of the changes are so so, but not deal breaking!! Mariko is gorgeous!!! Don't leave after the movie!! Fox is doing their own after credit scenes too now!!

I was planning on seeing it but I read a review that said that they changed Silver Samurai so much that he isn't even Silver Samurai anymore.

so nope, I'll wait for it until Netflix. I won't support these comic movies that take a dump on comics

Just saw it and man what a bummer. I wanted to see a wolverine movie and i got the japanese version of days of our lifes. Once again wolverine is good for nothing since he didnt do much. Robocop ehhh i mean silver samurai was crap and i allready predicted what would happen after the second trailer. After all those years Logan should know better but he is still as stupid as day one. Comes along as a big Player but gets hit with no trouble at all. He barely killed someone in here. At least the first one had awesome action scenes. Didnt liked it. 2013 offered the worst superhero movies i have seen in a long time. I hope at least thor 2 delivers.

For me, it was like comparing G.I. Joe Retaliation to The Rise of Cobra; it was slicker-looking than the first one, and the story seemed better, but it wasn't a blockbuster like, say Man of Steel or Star Trek Into Darkness. But I liked it. It just didn't blow me away. It was a very enjoyable movie for me. The end-credits scene on the other hand did blow me away. I was downright giddy. (lol)

I have to admit, I really enjoyed the twists and turns the story followed. It built itself up to a kind of surprise ending (although my wife predicted it), and overall it was a good movie. It just wasn't awesome like The Avengers was.

Spoiler warning for my post:

I thought it was great, especially the first two acts. On their own, they were amazing actually. If the third act had matched the first two, this would be one of the best superhero movies made. It just got too comic bookish at the end. The finale saved it, but from the time Wolverine gets captured to the time he defeats Silver Samurai, it was a little disappointing and not fitting of the rest of the movie because it just didn't match.

Viper was my biggest fear going in, and she gave me good reason, too. She was a total waste and not necessary. Pointless character that seemed only to be there for eye candy. Absolutely worthless inclusion. And her character wouldn't even be cool in the comics. Totally lame.

Overall, I'd give it an A-. And I enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed Man Of Steel, which was also great. Wolverine is a much more compelling character, and Hugh Jackman is a much better actor than Henry Cavill (whom I like, too).

There was one issue I had though, and I thought it was a mistake. But the more I thought about it, it was easily explainable, but I'm not sure it would be an official explanation, unless I just missed something, and maybe you guys can confirm that for me, but...in the movie, when Logan fights the black ninjas, his adamantium claws don't cut through their swords. They just clang against each other, when his claws should have sliced right through them. I just assumed the swords were made of adamantium as well since Yashida had perfected its manufacture for the Silver Samurai armor.

Another thing I'd like to add...I really liked the notion of Logan being vulnerable for a change, mortal even. He's really on-par with Superman most times, considering his healing factor, so for him to be able to be hurt was a great angle. It was something that gave the character a great new dimension and added a lot of tension when usually you just don't worry about Logan. I'm sure I'd love this movie more if I see it a second time.

Adamantium is not what it was anymore. Silver samurai got destroyed quick for a guy who has adamantium as an armor. Since wolverines bones are full of adamantium its more weird to me that his bone claws came threw it pretty easly too. I dont like when they take their powers away. Whats the point of seeing a wolverine movie if he doesnt go berserk on 50 ninjas? Superman who cant fly? Spiderman not climbing walls? Sadly marvel always goes the same route even though they have different companies attached to it. Logan will start to dance in wolverine 3, lol.

knew this was going to suck with the fact that it was rated pg13 alone ... they made this for kids or teens or whatever not for fans of actual comics ... My wolverine kills people for #$## sake ...

They can get away with a lot for a PG-13 these days... Its not the rating that brought this movie down...
