  1. I thought Man At Arms was next (after Hordak) in July. Triclops after Man At Arms for August. Then Webstor in September. My guess is: Teela (October) Trapjaw (November) Mekanek (December)
  2. Sorry if I'm sounding a little over-dramatic over the Steeler thing, just expressing my dissapointment. They've done such a good job with the rest of the 25th figures, I would have thought they'd have put a little more effort into Steeler, thats all. I can't believe I'm the only one who feels this way. And Mouser, what a great idea! I would have never thought not to buy something I didn't like. Save my money? What a concept. Now this is why I come to these boards. All the good advise. What would I do without it.
  3. You know, this is the first time I've been really disapointed with the new line. Endless Cobra Commanders, Snake Eyes, and Storm Shadows? Check. Horrible Duke arms? Check. Big head Breaker? Check. I can handle all that. What I can't get past is that awful Steeler. I'm a big, big fan of the original 13 and until now, I haven't really been let down. But after seeing Steeler, I just don't know what to think. Would it have been so hard to put a little extra effort into the figure and make him at least somewhat resemble the original? Short Sleeves? No Visor? What the? Are you kidding me? It's a sad, sad day for fans of the original 13...
  4. I'd be interested in pretty much whatever you have. My boys (9 and 7 years old) are really getting into Joe big time. Just let me know what you have. Thanks!!!
  5. I'll be passing on the Cobra Troop five pack. Still not sure about the Snake-eyes/Red Ninja pack yet, but I'll probably pass on that one too. The single carded Red is enough for me and the Snake-eyes isn't different enough for me to be of any interest. If they're going to do repaint five packs, I'd much rather see some of the original 13 instead, but thats just me. Oh well...
  6. Starduster all the way!!! I've been a fan of the comic since issue #1 of the old Marvel series, but I have no interest in a Billy of Doctor Venom figure. I can't really see hasbro using all new molds for a mail-away figure. I'm expecting some sort of repaint one way or another. Maybe it'll just be another Snake-Eyes repaint...
  7. I know, I know. Just the vibe a get around here is like, F the originals. I'm sure we'll see some, if not all in the future and I know that a couple of them are rumored for a 4th wave. Time will tell, I suppose
  8. So I've noticed around here that there isn't much love for the original 13 as far as the new 25th line is concerned. You see, to me, when I look back at my fond memories of my GI Joe collection from years ago, those are the guys that come to mind. Flash, Rock and Roll, Breaker, etc. Those are the figures I want to see. Now, first off, while this is my first post ever, I have been lurking around here for some time and by no means do I want to offend anyone. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I too love some of the figures from the later assortments from "back in the day", but the first 13 will always hold a special place in my heart. I look at the Snake Eyes from the 5-pack and, while he's not perfect, I see him for what he can be. And that is the base for almost all of the original figs. Hawk and Grunt would just need a head swap, much like the 3rd wave Stalker. Most of the others would just need short sleeve arms and/or new bandoliers. Flash, Grandslam, and Steeler might require a little more work. Still, though, one would think they'd be cheeper to produce than say, Snowjob or someone like that who requires a whole new body sculpt. In closing, let me just say that I pray that this line continues for a long, long time. There are plenty of figures on my "wish list" that I'd love to see made. Who knows, now that we're getting a Jump jet pack witht the 2nd Cobra 5-pack, what are the chances we'll see a Star Duster? Or at the very least, a silver Grandslam? Thanks guys!
