  1. Holy crap you're right I did forget that. That's one of the selling points for the new one for me as well
  2. I'm telling you, your Target and the one we work at suck for prices. The ones right by my house have all deluxes at $7.79. LJ, The first classics Starscream had a different pattern on the wings, grey and red tail fins (I prefer the G1-inspired blue ones on this second release). Yellow on the knees(which I like to break up all the grey of the legs). The first one's arm cannons wre painted silver (which I prefer to the new blue ones). Also, the color was more grey than this second release, which looks boderline white in pictures, though I haven't seen him in person to get a more accurate aidea of his coloring. Hope I answered all your question. If you want to see a decent gallery of the first classics starscream, head over to TFW and check out their galleries.
  3. Short answer on the seekers... no. There's things I like about the new Starscream and the first classics version. I might buy this second version and do some parts swapping to make a better Screamer.
  4. Well Grandus was mentioned in the article about animated in the collector's club magazine, so Dai Atlas would make sense. Alpha Trion would be cool, but I'd love to see more triple changers in animated.
  5. Me too. That's why I asked the question. If they had made Acidstorm the exclusive, I wouldn't have made a peep and the basement dwellers who shelled out $400 for the set are welcome to it. But these are MAIN characters in the mythology. The only way they could've punched us in the beanbag any harder was if it were a Megatron/Optimus 2-pack that you could only get at Botcon and never saw those figures anywhere else ever. Good to see I'm not included in those "basement dwellers" because I only paid $180 for my bagged Botcon set and my bedroom is on the second story. @firedevil@
  6. Oh yeah man. DPCIs get dropped into the system at least six months out from the release date, sometimes up to a year...
  7. Anyone seen the classic suit sinestro? I've seen three cases come through the target I work at and all three have been sinestro corps sinestro. FYI, if you need a Sinestro Corps sinestro, I have a MOSC one that I'm looking to trade for Harley Quinn from wave 2, or SDCC Lobo, which i'll pay cash to make up the price difference between lobo and sinestro.
  8. Oh goody! The Star Wars section had the monthly "A wal-mart employee told me they're no longer carrying (insert line name) anymore" threads, now the Joe section gets them too!
  9. Some countries don't allow artwork on toy packaging and require actual pictures of the toys themselves (see UK release of Transformers Alternators). So it isn't Habro cheaping out, it's them covering their backsides against toy packaging laws in other countires.
  10. Nope. Target doesn't do price adjustments on clearance items.
  11. he WAS over priced lol Yep, $20 for a transforming robosapien is more than fair IMO.
  12. Target has marked down Ultimate Bumblebee to 75% off! I picked him up for a cool $20 and change this morning at the one down the street from me. If you were holding out on this big boy, go to Target right now! Hopefully there's one hiding for you!
  13. Oh man, I cleaned house today! The Target right down the street from me had 7 Legions packs before I walked in there, none now! Add my team member discount on top of that and I am one happy camper. What to do with all the extra CCs and SSs though.
  14. A bottle of rubbing alcohol to take off the air brake dirt on MP Screamer is a lot cheaper than paying double for a clean version of the same toy and a pretty box.
  15. Well Target just clearanced out the 3 inch movie titaniums, so I don't know if they plan to bring them back after the movie toyline is over, but that probably isn't a good sign for the 3-inch line. IMO, titaniums only work for Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica vehicles. The Transformers and Marvel figures hardly have enough detail in them to make them worth the &5 or 6 that they retail for.
