Skeletor will be debuting in the next issue of ToyFare magazine, so that's relatively soon. He-Man doesn't go on sale until October 31, so by then we'll know what the first five figures look like (plus Zodac, who's coming sometime in 2009) because Stratos will be shown sometime in the near future. That should give you a pretty good idea by the time He-Man, the first regular figure, is released.

Do you (or anyone else for that matter) happen to know when that may come out? I don't regularly buy Toyfare but this may be an issue worth getting.

I don't know for sure. Someone somewhere said the August issue, but usually magazines are early by the month on the front, so I wonder if it means the September issue that will likely hit in mid-August or so (don't know when Toyfare ships, but most magazines hit by mid month).

Someone on He-Man.org said Toyfare hits comic shops and the like on August 13, so I assume that's the issue that has Skeletor in it. Then after that sometime I believe He-Man.org will get to debut Stratos (maybe in another month or so?).

I will be buying this line since it was the 1st toy line that i had. when my parents decided to leave the country i had to throw out all of my MOTU stuff literaly. i have almost all the 200x figures, just missing the exclusives.

Didn't start out good with this line since i already missed out on King Greyskull. But will get the following figures.

So if anyone can hook me up it will be appreciated :-)

I totally agree with Dark Phoenix but you know what...im a big fan of He-man and to have HE-MAN action figures that are fully posable is a treat for anyone who is a fan or collector.So yes i will be collecting these i can't wait

saying that they're not going to succeed is unneccessarily negative. i have a feeling MOTUC will have more longevity than the 2003 line. obviously, the line isn't going to last until the end of time, but i'm sure there will be plenty of die-hard motu fans that will keep this line going. its COLLECTOR-driven and its up to us to decide this line's fate. i say keep em coming mattel.

The actual He-Man figure poses a paradox for me, because while I love Masters of the Universe and 98% of the characters in it, He-Man is actually my least favorite character from the line, so I'm on the fence as to wether to buy him or not.

I'm much more excited about all the other characters!
It wouldn't seem right to get all of them and not him, but it looks like he's got a better chance than the others, so I might actually pass on him.
Better someone who does want him get him, than me just for the sake of completion.

It's online only and they are re-visiting the re-use of parts to keep costs down. The vintage collectors ate this up, while others see the parts re-use as a huge step back.

Nah man this is a step backwards. Posability is off the hook but the 200x line had it correct. Different sculpts for different characters. I hope this line does well I won't support it until the break out the 200x sculpts and make my Hordak. Oh and my new trademark....Zodak is a brotha not an alien!!! I think I'll change my deployed sig to that.......

Hmm, I do agree that having different body sculpts for different characters is the way to go, but overall I'm pleased so far with what I've seen. So long as these have all the major POA I will be pleased and will probably get them all (so long as supplies last!)

As far as Zodac goes, yeah I wish they could redo the 2002 version. He likes an intergalactic Michael Jordan... love the look!

Zodak was definitely one of the coolest characters in the new series. He was cool in the old cartoon as well, but I liked that he was black this time, and he looked badass. I'll likely always think of him as the 200X version because of it.

That would be cool, but to be honest, I don't think they will. Perhaps if the line gets really successful, they'll start integrating 2002 characters that had figures into it (like Zodak), but I don't foresee it happening for a long time, if ever. This new line truly seems like a classics line for now, so they're really focusing on the '80s stuff.

i like 2oox zodac, skeletor(i really love him) and hordak(love him too) but they should do a black zodac....he can stand with steel, cage, afro samurai, and war machine.
