  1. Saw Boba in person twice and didn't buy him and now I can't find him at all. First time I didn't buy because I had just purchased a big boy toy (Smith & Wesson M&P Shield) and the second I didn't like the black visor paint. Was very sloppy looking. Now he's nowhere to be found. Bummer.
  2. For looks, I prefer the first set. For articulation, I prefer the battle shell turtles. I know the articulation points are the same, but the range of motion is much better on the battle shell turtles. Would still like to have double jointed knees, but I'm pretty pleased with them how they are.
  3. Two of each left at the eastgate TRU in Cincinnati as of last night. I like them. Rocksteady could've been a little bigger, but I'm still pretty happy with them.
  4. I've picked up a few sets as well. Added a black wash to them, aside from the black ones of course. Added red to the insides of the mouths, and added a dry metallic silver wash to a few so far. Creates a cool weathered look. Very nice little figures.
  5. Got my order in just before 6am eastern time. Glad I didn't wait.
  6. 1st (and probably last) Annual Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Halloween Costume Contest! The results are in, and here are your winners!! Honorable Mention: leoasindy by TheLegoJoker, on Flickr Leonardo as Indiana Jones! 3rd Place: mikeasghost by TheLegoJoker, on Flickr Michelangelo as Ghost! 2nd Place: raphasbaby by TheLegoJoker, on Flickr Raphael as a Toddler! And the winner is..................... donashoneybooboo by TheLegoJoker, on Flickr Donatello as Honey Boo Boo!!! Congratulations to all of our participants!!!
  7. Big Show vs. Ryback would be awful. And, considering the fact that Ryback could hardly lift Tensai, I doubt he'd be able to put his finisher on Big Show. I'm bored with their match already, and it hasn't even happened yet.
  8. Someone posted a clip on another forum showing Metalhead. He's much shorter than the turtles. The size difference is even greater than it is with the figures. The scene was pretty funny, so I'm looking forward to the full episode.
  9. I think the figures are good, but the paint apps really killed what could have been great. I've repainted my Metalhead, and did a wash on Fishface and Dogpound, and even painted Dogpound's shoulder strap brown. Huge improvement. Definitely wish the articulation was as good as the Turtles across the line.
  10. Man, I hate TRU. Mine hasn't gotten as stupid as yours, but I did see that the sewer lair is now $139.99, the Shellraiser is up to $38.99 from $34.99, Sound FX figures are now $14.99, up from $12.99. NO increase in basic figures yet, but I'm expecting that any time now. Thank God for Walmart and their $7.77 pricetag. Also, if any of you have a Meijer in your area, they sell the Turtles for $7.99. I just wish someone other than TRU would stock the lair, because I want it but not for $150ish.
  11. Went to TRU tonight and saw that the Sewer playset is now $139.99, up from $119.99. Man, TRU is such a ripoff.
  12. Though I still prefer the Nick Turtles, the Classics are a lot of fun. Secret Playtime by TheLegoJoker, on Flickr TMNT Classics by TheLegoJoker, on Flickr tmntclassics by TheLegoJoker, on Flickr
  13. Keep hitting Walmart. They seem to be the best source for the three newer characters. That's where I found mine. I have been hearing of others finding them at Target and even TRU, so hopefully you'll be able to find them soon. Good luck!
  14. That's funny to me, because I've been wondering the same thing. @loll@
  15. It's funny that I'm one of the few who like Paulsen as Donnie. I never liked him as the voice of Raph, but I think his voice is great for Donnie.
