I am really starting to hate my area in terms of collecting. Everyone is finding the Plegueius wave and here's what I state of the stores are in my area. Its' been like this ever sense. To give an account out of the 3 Targets we have one has 2 Anakins, another as one Clone pilot as well as a VTC Royal Guard and another had at least six of wave 1 crap. The target did get wave 2, The only figure that they still had was Lumynara over the holiday. Here is a photo of one to the Target's and it's still like this. One Teammember at one Target told me they are not expecting any new figures anytime soon.

Yup....I haven't anything beyond the 1st wave since they 1st came out....it's frustrating as helllllo...TRU doesn't keep anything in stock (sometimes it seems like they're content w/only having one case in per every 3 months) as far as Star Wars, Marvel Legends, G.I. Joe......I heard the company is hemorrhaging money so why not cut back on the stuff that doesn't sell like infinite amounts of WWE & kiddie Marvel stuff that doesn't sell & keep in stock the big boy stuff...I swear...even Target doesn't ever seem to have the Smaller Black series ever on their pegs....I don't think its because they're being scooped up, its just not being re-stocked either...I hope this line doesn't fail before it gets a chance to take off...

Kmarts and Meijers.. I've seen them there here and there. Sadly, not stores that everyone has, lol.

Truth be told the Kmarts we have suck. They are worse then both Walmart and Target.

Strangely, Kmart has always been the hidden stash in my area too. Walmart SUCKS...they never have anything decent. Sometimes Target will have something. There's only one TRU in my state, and that's 400 miles away...

That's why I've been doing 99% of my collecting online for the last 5 or 6 years. The major retailers just aren't dependable enough in my area.

Check your local Disney store... The one near me had all of the most recent 3" black wave and 6" figs. I did find a 6" Stormtrooper, Bespin Luke and Obi Wan at a local TRU last week..
I only bought the stormtrooper (for various reasons of course)..

Kmart is the only place I have seen anything past wave 1.

Yeah, We don't have a Disney store anymore. Ours closed down years ago. Maybe you can hook me up with a 6 inch Stormtrooper, Because my area is not cool enough to get that in.

You could post this thread in pretty much any forum and it would still be true. At this point it's just the nature of the hobby and I think any fan of the hobby would do well to realize early on that they just might not be able to get the figure they want. I think it sucks too. But it is what it is. For whatever reason either companies aren't going to produce enough or retailers aren't going to order enough (I've given up trying to figure out who's to blame there). You're also at a disadvantage because that frequently-low supply is also being hunted by both other fans and scalpers alike. Be prepared to tell yoursel, "Man, I never did find that ______ figure."

My advice, make friends on boards like this. I can think of three TNIers right now that have gone out of their way to help me out. Similarly, if I see someone posting frequently that they're looking for _________ figure, I keep it in the back of my mind and have my eyes open while I do my own hunting. IF it works out, I surprise them with a PM saying, "Hey, you still need ________ ?" What goes around comes around, I think.

As for Stormtrooper, I haven't thrown in the towel on that guy yet. I know I missed him once at a TRU near me but I think he may turn up. Only planning to have an army of one of him, though.

Don't give up. I just happened to stumble on him and he is seriously worth the hunt.

He hasn't even hit my Targets yet. If he did I'd have seen the evidence...right, Episode III Obi Wan?

Right now I'm at work and I'm working on what we call rotations. This is where we take out the items that are out of date.IT is too bad that regular stores don't do the same. The new items could be in the back and the non toy collectors who run these depts. don't even bother trying to rotate the items like taking the new stuff and putting it up and taking the non sellers and backstocking them
