I agree with the post down the line about getting suited crimson twins. I'm sure hasbro will make those eventually. I like the new crimson twins and the uniforms, and hope to see the Crimson Guard Commander outfits from not too long ago, as well as some cool battle armor. Also since we are supposed to be getting a joe SDCC exclusive as well, who could it be? Maybe Long Range, Lt Stone, Agent Faces, Kamikura or Big Lob.

Maybe even a "Galactic Hero" "Adventure Hero" size, since they will surely be using those when the movie line launches.

Hopefully neither of those. I hate the mighty muggs they look stupid to me and not worth collecting. Maybe it will be legends scale or sigma. If its any of the adventure team they had protos at the fair, I will be a happy man come comic con. I also think it would be cool if they did a lego scaled or mini mate Gi Joe figure for the con. I remember seeing some awesome custom lego figures years ago that looked like store quality that I would have bought in a heartbeat. Not sure if now I would want to start collecting Lego Gi Joes or minimates if they did come out. I kinda wanted to get the Batman legos but decided to keep my collecting from getting out of hand again and limit myself. Speaking of the con, shouldn't we be seeing stuff from Sideshow soon? The Star Wars line gets an exclusive, they should do one for the Joe line too.

The secret 2008 SDCC exclusive figure is going to be a Mini-Mate, that much I found out. I'm working on finding out what the character is going to be, but i'm leaning towards Snake-Eyes.

Where did you find that out??? Joe minimates would kinda be stupid IMO.........I mean they would be cool...but I don't think I would buy them......I got burned out on Marvel Minimates way too quick.....the same would happen with Joes.

Jinx. lol. I can go with that. Kind of would have rather had a regular figure but its cool. I wonder what the distribution numbers will be. The production run of exclusives has been pretty low with the cons. They should up the numbers a little since GI Joe is popular again.
As far as the character it will be, I will go for any version of any character as long as it is not a live action movie version.

Now that I think about it...

I really doubt it's gonna be Mini-Mates. Although it'd be cool if it was, Hasbro has a line that they may see as in direct competition with them - Adventure/Robot/Whatever Heroes. So far they've done if for ALL their other boys' brands - Transformers, Marvel Superheroes, Indiana Jones, Star Wars. With a successful GI Joe line and a movie coming up, it's inevitable that they'll be doing ones for them too.

The only way Mini-Mates would get done is if Hasbro has been convinced that they'd sell to a completely different market - which is true, since you mostly find them in comic book and collectible stores - but I have a feeling they wouldn't be.

I have no idea what it is, but reading the clues my guess is it's gonna a debut of a GIJoe line of Galactic/Superhero Squad figures and this one being Snake-Eyes with Timber.

Hasbro is going to do what they have done to all the other lines- Star Wars, Marvel, Indiana Jones- give it an action figure line and a "chubby" galactic hero-type line, it's only obvious.
