  1. Keep doing 50/50 variants, but ditch the reduced-availability "chase" nonsense. Every single chase they'd done or announced should have been a 50/50 anyway. And if the only difference is the head, FFS just include the alternate head and make them swappable.
  2. Ye gods, wtf happened to Eradicator's transparent visor seen here? In one fell swoop they changed him from the highlight of the wave to a laughingstock.
  3. Judging by the current results, I think both Question and Huntress fans are gonna be satisfied.
  4. you must already have Fire Starter and AquaMarine? Actually didn't he say he picked up Aquafresh?? Must be a variant! @hmmm@ Nah, just Harley Queen.
  5. Harvey totally needs interchangeable heads. If they try to screw us out of extra money by making regular Harvey a chase like they did with unmasked Bats, so help me... Oh wait, I realized as I was typing this that wouldn't really work, because it's not just his head, his suit is also messed up as Two-Face. :-\ Anyway, I would also love to see a Nurse Joker.
  6. the fig looks good in general. everyone here should know that its obviously a proto pic, so why are you guys trippin' bout nothing? I wouldn't say he's trippin about nothin. Generally prototypes are remarkably similar to the released figures. It's unlikely they would use an entirely different sculpt (say, one more suited to a nearly-nude character like he mentioned) for the regular figure. If anything it makes less sense to expect something different from the prototype than it does to criticize it. I think it's important to voice concerns prior to release. It may not get things changed, but acting like sheep by excusing everything and deciding from the start you're going to love a figure no matter what is crazy. ive been dealing with this line to long to know that the proto will not look exactly like the finished product.(it will be better) the 4h always uses the same bodies for the protos.....thats why all of the men seem the same size on the protos(like aquaman was big on the protos, but was smaller tan bats and supes when released) you should know that......baa..baaa Ah, that's somewhat comforting. I hadn't seen the original prototypes for the older figures, so as far as I knew it would be like Transformers or Marvel Legends, where the only difference between the proto and the retail release is that the retail release is painted worse. Still, given that Mattel seems to be far more concerned with maintaining a family friendly image (like they'll apparently even get onto fansites for allowing adult language in their forums, according to he-man.org's FAQ), this is one fix I can see them failing to make.
  7. if you mean KB TOYS....then i agree with you 100% Yeah, I was talking about Terry specifically. Cyborg with a unique attachment I could care less about.
  8. Man, what are they thinking giving a sure-to-see-huge-demand exclusive to a retailer that practically doesn't exist anymore? They'd damn well better sell that thing online (and keep it in stock)...
  9. I can't believe people are saying Starfire looks good... it's painfully obvious that torso sculpt wasn't intended for a nearly-nude character. She looks like a stripped Barbie doll with a painted-on bikini. I suppose this should come as no surprise from the company uptight enough to ban Lobo from a normal release.
  10. Well, it says Zodiac in the TNI article, but I don't see a label calling him that in the pictures, so maybe it's a typo.
  11. Yes, and please tell us whether the chestplate is removable. I'm considering ordering a second for repainting if it is (this guy plus black hair plus white furs & cape minus chestplate equals a perfect representation of my long-time Dungeons & Dragons character, you see).
  12. If you've opened your King Grayskull, mind telling me whether the chestplate is removable? I'm considering ordering a second for customizing if it is. (Also, if it is removable, is it attached to the cape? Ideally it shouldn't be, but if it is I suppose I can cut it off... just have to be real careful doing so. ;; )
