  1. My guess is that we will see them in a slightly different form thanthe Con set. Hasbro put out a lot of cash to make Thrust's unique wing molds. They'll try to recoup that somehow. Perhaps making Thrust and Dirge from the non-conehead body, and Thundercracker in a different color blue or something.
  2. I agree with your idea, but I think the problem is the facial proportions. If Destro was wearing a helmet, that would be about the right size, but his facial features would still be scaled closer to the actual 25th head size. I would love to see an upsized CC head. Thats just too small
  3. Don't forget the POTC Singapore Battle playset. Its still hanging around TRU and WM. Target blew them out a few months ago.
  4. I am hoping for an all-black version 1 SE. The grey is okay but its not true to the original. I don't really care about Destro and kind of hope he's nothing really different so I can pass on him. As far as mold reuse - I don't mind molds begin milked a bit to extend the line but there are already a few figures on the way that aren't necessary just yet (black CC, Red Ninja, VvV SS). The one mold reuse complaint I have is the Cobra Trooper/Officer. They should not just have the same uniform with different webgear. I hope Hasbro redoes the Officer: losing the kneepads, adding an AK-47 and changing the grey webgear and mask to black.
  5. Since I don't chew on them, and my son gets nowhere near them, I'd keep them.
  6. Congrats on your son's birth, he's got a great birthday (its my B-day as well). I'd be happy to finish up the Classics seekers and I think they could do so by changing the paint apps and possibly altering the wings of Thrust and Dirge slightly, thus making them different enough from the Con versions to keep thoise folks happy while the rest of us get what we want.
  7. Ripper is from Tasmania, is that separate from Australia? Love how Thrasher's 04 filecard gave him the last name LaCrosse. Explains his weird weapon.
  8. since these figures have some very easy to remove parts (heads, hands, etc) I think it would be cool to include alternate hands or heads for the occasional figure, when it is warranted. CC and Shipwreck could use non-clenched fists to hold their guns, Lady Jaye could have a non-hat wearing head, Beachhead unmasked - stuff like that.
  9. Hey Aly, looks almost as nice as one of your customs. Hopefully mine will arrive tomorrow, I was on vacation all last week and had the mail stopped.
  10. I suspect we will see the rest of the classics seekers in some form in the future. Hasbro isn't going to eat the cost of the new molds from Thrust and not find a way to issue it again. They've done it with Star Wars loads of times. I'd be fine with some release that alters them slightly (3 pack or single card): Thundercracker - change paint apps (cheesy but effective) Thrust - change paint apps and/or remove conehead Dirge - remold wings to match G1 closer. Then use new sculpted wings on an exclusive to help cover costs.
  11. I'd like to see Soundwave and some cassettes, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Wheeljack. Mirage, Brawn (why not?). And not that it'll happen, but robot modes that more closely resemble G1. I just can't get past the idea that these are just transforming robots that happen to have Transformers names. Guess I've become an old coot.
  12. Major Barrage and Venomous Maximus are the only 2, prior to the 25th Anniversary sculpts. Some Star Wars heads may work.
  13. The cancelled stuff looks better than 90% of the stuff they release.
  14. Walmart??? Thats just great. Yet another exclusive I will never, ever see. And I have 7 WM's within a moderate driving distance to pick from. Just to show you how screwed up their distribution system is.
