Don't you people see that the arrow fits in the Hard Master's chest? That's too cool!

It could be but that torso was used on the v3 Snake Eyes and the hole on him was just for his butterfly knives.

if you look at the arrow the head looks like its kinda squared so it would fit. but idk

I think it looks like it will, and if so that's sweet!

Hard Master and Snake Eyes look great and have a ton of cool accessories. I'm not as jazzed about this pack as some of the others, but I welcome it. If nothing else, Hard Master will stand in for Night Creeper Leader (although leading Red Ninjas rather than NCs), and Snake Eyes could be Kamakura as far as I'm concerned.

Beachhead doesn't impress me, but I know there are BH fans out there who didn't think the first version was as accurate as it could be. Plus, there are certainly worse things possible than getting a second Beachhead (like Duke #16, for example). Mainframe looks great; I hope his mic actually plugs into something. I also wish that Hasbro would start making 'mistakes' on the stands of all these characters who they can't/won't use the original names on. They did it with Breaker (the one with the RAM), why not on all the others?

Scrap-Iron is so freakin' sweet. I hope Hasbro doesn't cheap out and leave the knife sheath empty (or claim it's a holster when it obviously isn't). Wild Bill is great for the cartoon fans, although too inaccurate to please me.

Mostly winners here, but for different and more obscure reasons than Hasbro intended. Win some, lose some...

Snake Eyes is Kamakura to me too, he'll be getting painted for sure. The red ninja head, and the different belt make him just different enough for me not to say "Yet, another Storm Shadow".

I like the way Mainframe looks, I expected no more. Couldn't care less about Beachhead, the wave 2 version is way better IMO, I'd even say the wave 2 version is more cartoon acurate except for the webgear. Maybe that's just me.

Don't care about Wild Bill. He may or may not replace the wave 7 version but I won't be able to decide until I've got him in hand.

I love Scrap Iron, been waiting for him for a while, but is it me or do the scars seem over done? Either way I'm very happy to see him.

I agree, Figg - I always knew he had a scar that compounded his obsessive behavior... but I don't think it ever came through in the toy, or the comic, or the cartoon. I mean, one of Scrap Iron's only memorable anything is that he killed a bunch of semi-important people in a crashed car.

I think the scars go a little too far, but what's worse is that he has a dead eye. Not for nothing, but a weapons tester like himself would probably not be too good at his job without depth perception. With that... goggle lens stays on! ; )

Actually I think the eye is a very nice touch, It may not be accurate (but I've never seen him without the visor) and it may be no good for depth perception.

But, I've got suspended belief with Joes anyway.

I've just always thought he had a scar running under his right eye (the messed up one) that snuck out from the visor a bit and that was it, or, he had a scar, not scars.

But that's my perception of him, and my Scrap Iron will be displayed with his visor on all the time as well.

With that said, I suddenly realised I was critiquing a character's ability to fire a weapon accurately... in the world of GI Joe. What was I thinking! X D

DRAVEN, AMEN someone said it not me! WB bites the big one...HARD and how many more repaints do we need...OMG !! Hasbro has no imagination anymore. I just do not get it? aside from the plain and simple...which is they play on our addictions and make millions... but Im still a fan and hoping for something good besides the BATS 5 pack and the animated cartoon coming out soon.

I imagine that would explain the missiles. You don't necessarily need to hit the target as long as you can get them in the blast radius.

That pretty much explains Major Bludd's choice of weaponry too.

Major Bludd??? where ?????is there a Major Bludd figure??? you must mean the ZARTAN repaint I have with the color chaning face .... I mean green face (hulk smash) . lol I agree with you its all imagination but for they price they sell it at, they should freakin fly on there own ..lol (when you want like 10 of them) lol you know what I mean. As for the design, I can only pray that that whole crew who worked on this line gets fires and they can all live in the same card board box and hope that someone comes by and sets it on fire withe them all traped inside!!! LOL

YOOOOOOOOOO JO..... ah forget it, I lost the feeling after the last repaint I saw.

Oh and by the way have the seem the Joe dolls? Man I think I am gonna break out the TUBO GRAPHICS 16 and play some BONKS ADVENTURE !!! These figures are all lame. ANYONE WANNA BUY MY COLLECTION???? of repaints? lol

Didn't you just copy and paste this into another thread? This has to have been like the third or forth time you've done this. I'm getting suspisious about you.
EDIT- Actually you pasted it into four different threads. Your antics are getting annoying.

So now you know what I mean by Annoying? The point I was trying to make is that When something is done over and over again it tends to get tired. especially when its something you like. The saying goes if you do not like it dont buy it, just as if you do not like your job quite? In some cases thats a little unfair...I need my gi joe fix every now and then ...lol and sometimes would like it done some what right (ex: CUTTER) Well to further the statment, When you are a FAN complaining is what we do? I will not make multiple posts anymore just so we are clear. I was just putting prespective to us talking about how Hasbro only does repaints and how exclusives are not exclusives . To have to buy a cutter and mod him is a crazy thought (although its fun). As a person who works for a model (sculpting) company for the past nine years. Sometimes I like to just come home and work on collecting not sculpting all day and work and having to do it when I get in the door for something I like ....alot. 25 years of collecting and I have eveything so I always look at the figure in a whole not the color of a repaint. Seeing evey type of repaint in the world after 25 years is some what annoying to see or hear it over and over again. Sorry for being a pest. Thank you for reading the post either way and commenting. I was honestly looking for a response just as you answered it. Let me ask you guys If you were to change anything on the figures would it be a RESCULPT (total) or a repaint. What can you do without?

I am so happy that Mainframe has no cobra emblems on him!

It's absurd that Hasbro has to change names of popular characters....... It's so annoying! @grumpy@

Beachhead's extra head is a nice touch, but a little strange. We didn't often, if ever, see him with his mask down like that. And it looks like he doesn't have his backpack which is what I would rather see.

lol, I was just thinking that the other day! He was entertaining...

I love the Beachhead figure. Hard Master is nice, but is that look based on anything? Did he sport that in the comic?

I've got to say, I'd rather a figure like that be made from reused parts than any of the figures that were made in the core years (imo, '82-86). I hate that someone like Hard Master (not to mention Matt Trakker or Wraith) got the full 25th treatment, while Flint and the Original 13 get Duke arms. Mainframe and Scrap-Iron look alright. I'm getting tired of seeing Shipwreck arms reused, though. It bothered me with Spirit as well - they just scream Navy to me (and I should know, since I'm in the Navy). You want to be able to roll those sleeves down in the field, you know! Mind you, they're much better repaints than other figures we've gotten.

Wild Bill, meh. They gotta use some new legs with him, that g-suit look bothers me too. Snake Eyes I kind of like, I don't know why...

Duh, sorry, I was not looking at the link and just the text of yor post and your post looked fine so I was missing a mistake there. I did not even notice a link or my curser did not seem to want to do anything when I went over it.

I got it now though. Sometimes I just need it pointed out.

They do stuff like this alot on TRU.com. Usually if you go by what it says it is you get that. Just don't go by the pictures.

I kinda wonder if WB should ALWAYS be in his less-than-practical Cartoon Colors. Does anybody really have found memories of Bill from the comic book (other than the time he almost gave Duke a heart attack when landing the Dragonfly?). Maybe some folks out there who's parents let them watch Robert Duvall's performance in Apocalypse Now? "Charlie don't surf-- Yo Joe!" :)
