  1. Well, some of us are on a budget, and aren't able to spend $25 on a six-inch piece of plastic. It's not like I think "OMFG I need this toy!", because if it were that important, I would be willing to pay what I had to in order to get it. I am just voicing my opinion that if Hasbro did this, I'd buy it. That's where I'm coming from. Where Hasbro is coming from is that they don't make a cent off of items sold on eBay. It's in their interest to have you buy the toy from retail rather go through a different source. Which, again, is why Star Wars, Transformers, GI Joe, etc, constantly re-release molds and in some cases, the exact figures as before. They'd rather I give them ten dollars for a Deadpool than 25 to some guy on eBay. They get my money, I get my figure for much less. Everyone wins. Except the guy on eBay, but this is apparently an entirely different debate that I really want no part of.
  2. I think the Genosha sentinel was inspired by the Tri-Sentinel, but they're unrelated. I believe it was a Wild Sentinel.
  3. What the Hell? The SM3 Unleashed guys were so freaking cool, and now we have this? What the bloody Hell?
  4. It's not weird; it's mold degeneration. It happens all the time when the same mold is used repeatedly. In the 90's, it didn't matter so much, because the sculpts were fairly simplified. But nowadays, with more detailed sculpts, the tinier details are wearing out with each use. Hasbro will have to make some of its own basic body types within the next year or so.
  5. I'd like just a wave of repaints...
  6. I don't know what your on man but cut the dose. Wait, are you talking to me, Holmes, or Alice?
  7. I'd like to point out that toy companies re-release older product all the time. Spawn, Star Wars, Transformers, Batman... sure, but older product made by another company? Well, considering Hasbro already did that with Spider-Man: Origins, which sold a darn sight better than their own original series, I don't think it's that far-fetched. origins sold better than spidey classic? what color is the sky in your world man? hell you can still buy alot of them from hasbro for original price, they sold so well. "Their" being Hasbro, "own original series" being the Spidey 3 line.

  9. He doesn't have anything under his belt. He doesn't have anything, period.

  11. I believe I proposed this exact idea a few weeks back. I think a "Best of ML" line is a great idea.
  12. Because those characters continue to sell reliably?
  13. They don't (didn't) tone down Holmes or Tarzan in the material they were mainly featured in, either, which was also serialized story telling. The books do have Holmes as a concaine addict, and Tarzan lynching black people and contemplating cannibalism. If you think of the original books as beng the same for these characters as the Marvel comics are for Wolverine, then there's really no difference. On a related matter, would anyone tell a young person to not read Sherlock Holmes, Tarzan, or, say, Edgar Allen Poe because of these gristly aspects of the works?
  14. You said it yourself: there aren't things you'd expect from Mysterio, because they're completely out of character for him. One of the reasons he sets up elaborate James Bond villain style death traps is because not only are they spectacular showmanship, but because he just doesn't have it in him to just shoot someone in the head. He's gunshy, and it's been the point of several stories about him. He either has someone else do the dirty work for him or he let the robot or simulation do it. But more importantly, this entire elaborate scheme was way, way too private for Mysterio. No one but Daredevil knew the whole truth, and that's just far too quiet for a character whose entire motivation is being a glory hound. If this was his last hurrah, he'd want the entire world to see it, if he could help it. The whole thing rang as false, and the completely random nature of the revelation didn't help. Couldn't Daredevil's enemy Jester have done this just as well? Besides, I have a sore spot about villains dying in other hero's books. Mysterio was a Spider-Man baddie, and that's where he should have met his ultimate fate.
