Finally after weeks of being beaten to all the stores in my area by my local scalper/collectible store owner. Ive finally found some luck got Icarius,Megator, Moss man, and orko adam set. After trying to start my collection from biglots and having no luck im very excited for this.

Ive called all big lots in 40 miles of me none have any left or got more in this week. Really sucks was looking to start a collection with this news. Been wanting to get into MOTU but as everyone knows its very expensive to start now but had some hope with this looked at big lots and big calling for two weeks now with no luck. I got man e faces skelator and clawful of ebay but thats all I have know was atleast trying to get the main characters. But there is a local scalper in my area who has a shop and goes to every store in my area and buys out all the figures I want and jacks them up in price. I called him today to see what he had he picked up fifteen different figures multiples of some and is selling the single figures for 30 a piece and two packs for 40. I refuse to give him any of my money because hes the reason I cant find the figures so im kinda at a dead end here.

So Ive been an avid marvel and gi joe collector for awile now and was recently looking to start up new collection. I was a huge MOTU fan as a kid just for some reason never collected the new line. I did like how great this new line is in reestablishing the attention to detail and nostalgia but when I try to get into it they appear to be way to expensive any way I try to buy them. Then I heard bout this big lots deal but of course my local scalper bought out every big lot in the areas motu the day before i heard bout it. So need to start from square one here if anyone is looking to get rid of any if you sell in lots or anything really. I dnt care if there loose or MOC as long as there complete and in decent condition. I use ebay alot and have a 100%rating i can use paypal for exchanges just figured maybe other people could take advantage of this big lots deal and help me out.

live in central pa haven"t been able to get any of this series yet. Im a avid marvel and joe collector watched MOTU when I was a kid had lots of the figures but never collected the newest ones. I recently wanted to start a collection just based on the detail and sculpts of these things but having a family makes it hard and its difficult to justify buying 27 dollar figures. So I was super pumped hearing this news to start my collection left early before work first stop nothing called the other two stores in area didnt wanna waste time if they didnt have them. They both said the had them and a guy came and bought there whole inventory then I rembered my local collectible store owner slash scalper who causes me endless grief. He goes around to all the stores in my area and buys all new GI joe, Dc,and marvel stocks making it virtually impossible for me to collect anything without paying extra. So I know he just plain got out before me sucks I was really pumped to get into MOTU collecting.

They cancel all the animated series I really like avengers,wolverine and the xmen, GI joe renegades list goes on and on.

Yeh i know what your saying the figures def look worth it and not that I have a problem payin for good toys I have before its just needing alot to start with and two kids at christmas and everything. But my wife and family usually give me money to get things I cant get in stores so im gonna have to just get few at a time or look for a lot on ebay definetly pumped to get started in a knew series though.

The definitely I don't think I'd have anything anyone would wanna trade but if anyone wants to sell extras or anything I have PayPal and good feedback from the few times I've bought from people on the marvel forums. I'm starting with no characters here so any help would do

not really a bad thing ... the advantage is you get to cherry pick what you want out of knowing EVERYTHING that is already out there ... So start with a list like the above of the main characters & then make up a list in order of what you want from there ... & when the line dies who knows what will happen to the price of figures after words it could just bomb & drop way down also if you go to toyshows or comic shops that happen to sell figures if they have a bunch you maybe able to make a deal with them on the price if you buy a lot at once Yeah I get what your saying like I said I've been avidly collecting for awhile now marvel,Mk,player select,halo,ect. I just really didn't to have it go like toybiz legends the company stops doing it then the prices skyrocket making it virtually impossible to start collecting was just hoping to get into it before there extinct.

Thanks for all the advice I know I'm jumping in late but I was more of a comic book and figure collector and with two kids now it took some time to catch up on those but now I keep seeing the MOTU figures and was kinda blown away by the recreation of a series I loved as a kid. I've been checking the Mattel site just noticed they were sold out of alot but guess that's the price to pay for gettin in late.

Been collecting figures avidly for the past 8 years now since stopping after childhood. Ive been mostly collecting Marvel legends and other lines mostly comic related. But as my love grows for collecting action figures the more I noticed the MOTU line. Im twenty six now so obviously i was a fan of the series when I was younger had alot of the original figures but there long since gone now. Was looking for a new series to collect and I was blown away by the detail and accesories with the classics line. The only thing ive noticed is the figures starting at thirty five dollars that seems alittle steep for one figure even though they seem amazing. So was just wondering if anyone had a tips for a newb in this line where do i start,best place to buy online or not. Ect
