  1. Hello! Hoping someone can offer me some guidance/help/etc - I'm interested in posting an action figure photonovel in the forums. However, it is not letting me post a message with pictures and the message it gives me is very vague. It just says, "You are trying to post too many images", even when I try posting only a mere ten images in a given post. And it does not actually specify how many I AM permitted to post. I would love to be able to post the story in the forums, as I think the community might enjoy it. Oddly, I AM able to post the pictures if I upload them directly, but that wastes your bandwidth and then only shows the pictures in the thumbnail and/or slideshow manner, which is a very inefficient way to read the story. Is there anything you can suggest or any guidance someone could give me? I'd love to be able to put up the story if the rules and procedures permit.
  2. We're going to be accepting orders up until the end of the month (aka the end of the week, aka Sunday aka Halloween.) So don't delay! I don't know if we will be able to offer these in the future. Thanks to everyone for the response so far!
  3. Well, folks, this is the moment we've all been waiting for!! Sadly, as memories of the glorious, tragically brief Indy line recede into the mists of history, it is clear that we will never see the coveted second "Raiders" wave of figures. But all is not lost! In a bold partnership between myself, originator of the "Tough Sergeant" prototype head offer and supremely talented customizer extraordinaire Inky Skin aka PhillipmScott, a limited number of headcasts from some of the "lost" figures will soon be available! Choose between that lovable turncoat Satipo or the iconic "Melty" Headed Toht! Or, even better, get both!!! Only a limited number of head casts will be made available, so don't delay! These figures are true beauties and this could be your only chance to own a piece of toy history! Please email me at lancequazar@hotmail.com for more details!!
  4. MIND=BLOWN!!! HOLY CRAP, amazing work!!! UNBELIEVABLE! I'll reiterate what I said in my other post on your other thread - SHARE THESE PICS WITH OTHER FORUMS! THE WORLD NEEDS TO SEE THIS AMAZING WORK!!!!!
  5. Holy cripes!!!! This is phenomenal! You REALLY need to post these at some other forums, like The Raider.net and the Rebelscum/Cool Toy Review forums. This INCREDIBLE work needs to be seen by the whole world!!!! EXTRAORDINARY!!! Can't wait to see the end result!!!
  6. I feel very guilty about having created this thread and gotten hopes up, but now it really seems obvious that these babies are fakes and part of an elaborate hoax. Over the past few days, the figures have been painstakingly analyzed on other sites and they simply MUST be custom jobs. Too many flaws, too many parts cribbed from other figures, too many inconsistencies. And, of course, no word from Hasbro at the Con. The "con" is on us, gang. It's disappointing, but undeniable at this point. Still, despite my disappointment, I have a lot of admiration for the sinister customizer and, in a weird way, this whole rollercoaster has been fun.
  7. What, no one here talking about the leaked photos from Comic Con (not part of Hasbro's official preview) for the NEW Indiana Jones figures? Whoa! It's true, my friends. It's incredible! Indy (from all appearances) will be back!!!
  8. I tried this last month and they were sold out.
  9. Great news! Glad you like it!!
  10. Happy to help. Only problem is I think I sprained my shoulder patting myself on the back.
  11. Sorry, I spoke to Ryan today and he is not able to do painted heads. Poke around the various custom sites/forums. Lots of talented folks out there, I'm sure you could find one to do the job.
  12. I provided the prototype to Ryan, but he's the one handling the orders and doing all the work. However, given that the demand has been quite overwhelming so far, I don't think he has the time or inclination to do painted heads. It's just way too time consuming. You might want to hunt around on the various custom forums for other artists who would do commission work like that.
  13. You're right on all counts, of course. Some of us choose to live our lives trying to, I dunno, do nice things. Some don't. Personally, I get zero satisfaction from owning a one of a kind item. At least one like this. I just don't care. I also am not making one thin dime off this endeavor, though I could have quadrupled my investment at least. Easily. If not more so. I'm doing this purely to share with my fellow collectors who have a shared interest in Indiana Jones toys.
  14. Well, it seems that ANOTHER lost/cancelled Indiana Jones figure has surfaced. Recently, I have obtained the prototype for an unproduced - and previously entirely unseen and unknown - "Tough Sergeant" figure. You know, the guy who fights Indy in the truck in "Raiders" - who punches his wounded arm and them hurls Indy out the windshield? Yeah, that's the guy! Take a look! Well, there's even more good news! Unlike certain other, ahem, forum members with rare prototypes, we are not going to selfishly hoard this, but are making head casts cheaply available! If interested, send an email to: ryan@midishaw.com and make sure to put "Tough Sergeant" in the subject line. Consider it the last "new" Indiana Jones figure you're likely able to own!
